Georgian Visa:
Georgian visa is a specific form issued in the travel document, which gives the right to a foreign citizen to enter, stay and/or exit Georgia, also transit Georgian territory.

There are following categories of visa: diplomatic, official, ordinary and living.

For how long is an ordinary Georgian visa valid?:
You (a foreigner, who has entered Georgia legally) may receive a single entry visa, valid for 90 days.

Note:
In cases defined by international treaties, an ordinary visa may be issued for more days (maximum for 15 years).

Who should I address to receive an ordinary Georgian visa?:
Georgian visa is issued by the Public Service Hall.

You may also refer to diplomatic representation or consulate of Georgia abroad.

For consideration of your case, please submit following documentation:
** Passport or travel document;
** Application for the visa;
** 1 photo, size 3×4;
** A receipt of payment of the state duty;

A document verifying following circumstances or these circumstances are known for the visa issuing agency:
** The purpose of your visit and approximate conditions;
** Adequate means to cover the costs of your travel;
** Insurance covering your travel and accidentals;
** For transit visa – guarantees that you will enter the third country;
** For cases prescribed by the Georgian legislation – a work permit.

Upon necessity, additional documentation might be required or you may be asked to come for an interview to verify following:
** Your identity;
** A document verifying authenticity of the data:
** Legality of financial means;
** Purpose, rout and length of travel;
** Guaranteed for return.

Visa application:
Application form is filled in Georgian or in English (print Latin transcript is a must). In case of application to a diplomatic representation or consulate of Georgia abroad, the language of the given country may be used. Visa application shall be filled by you personally and you certify the authenticity of the data with your signature.

In case, if you have an illness, physical condition or for any other reason and you are unable to fill in a visa application form by yourself and you are unable to verity submitted data with your signature, visa application form is completed and signed by your guardian or accompanying person. There is a specific note made in the visa application form, which includes identity of that person and his/her passport data.

According to Georgian legislation, in case of minor, you might need to submit notarized consent of his/her legal representative.

What is a travel document ?
** A travel document of a stateless person or a refugee or humanitarian status holder is a proof of identity and citizenship document as on the territory of Georgia as beyond its borders.

** A travel document shall be issued to a refugee or humanitarian status holder (if a humanitarian status holder holds no identity document and/or such document cannot be obtained) for the purpose of exit, entry the territory of Georgia and traveling overseas.

** A travel document is valid to exit Georgia and entry into any state, except for the state of citizenship or previous permanent residence of a refugee and those states where his/her or his/her family members cannot be out of danger.

  1. Me and my office mates are planning to visit Georgia this coming Sept 8-15 2016. Is there a need of entry visa for a Filipino Citizen and working and residing in Saudi Arabia with valid residence permit. Please advise us asap before we purchase tickets and hotel reservation.
