Additional Simplified Procedure

There are three ways to apply for Zanaco Xapit Mobile Banking:
** In person at a Zanaco branch. You will need to bring your National Registration Card (NRC) or Passport, and a utility bill or bank statement as proof of address.
** By calling Zanaco’s customer care line on 5000. You will need to provide your NRC or Passport number, and your mobile phone number.
** Through the Zanaco Mobile Banking app. You can download the app from the Google Play Store or the Apple App Store. Once you have downloaded the app, you can open it and follow the instructions to apply for Xapit Mobile Banking.

Here are the steps on how to apply for Xapit Mobile Banking through the Zanaco Mobile Banking app:
1. Open the Zanaco Mobile Banking app.
2. Click on the “Xapit” tab.
3. Click on the “Apply Now” button.
4. Enter your NRC or Passport number.
5. Enter your mobile phone number.
6. Enter your email address.
7. Create a password for your Xapit account.
8. Click on the “Submit” button.

You will receive an SMS with a verification code. Enter the verification code in the app and click on the “Verify” button. Your Xapit Mobile Banking account will be activated and you will be able to start using it immediately.

Here are some additional things to keep in mind when applying for Zanaco Xapit Mobile Banking:
** You must be a Zambian citizen or a permanent resident of Zambia to apply for Xapit Mobile Banking.
** You must be at least 18 years old to apply for Xapit Mobile Banking.
** You must have a valid NRC or Passport.
** You must have a valid mobile phone number.
** You must have a valid email address.
