How To Book Waitaki District Council Online Class?
You can make online bookings for our pre-school programmes which are blends of age and ability groupings.
Please note you will not be able to book your children into swimming lessons until they have been assessed at the Waitaki Aquatic Centre. Please set up your account and then contact us to make an appointment to have your child/children assessed.

** To enable you to use the website you will have to create a password. This will only be possible if we have your current email address.
** If we do not have your email address, please do not create a new profile. Call us and update your information, and you will then be able to request a password reset on our website.
Request a password reset on Waitaki Recreation Online Service:
Step 1: Go to the link https://recreationonline.waitaki.govt.nz/
Step 2: Go to “Logon” page
Step3: Choose “Click here to access “Create/Reset Password” page.
Step 4: Enter your email address , complete the security check and click “send”.
Step 5: You will receive an email with a link to reset your password. Once this is done you will be ready to access your account with the Waitaki Aquatic Centre.
Step 6: Log in your account via the Logon page on the website
Step 7: Go to “My Details” and check that the information we have is correct. If not please change.
Step 8: Go to “My Groups” and check if all your Family/Group information is correct.

About Waitaki District Council
The Waitaki District Council was created in 1989 when the former Waitaki County, Waihemo County, Palmerston Borough and Oamaru Borough councils were amalgamated.
Waitaki is the only district in the South Island that lies within two regions.
A major reason for this split was the governance of the Waitaki River, which forms a political boundary between Canterbury and Otago. This is why the district has two regional authorities – the Otago Regional Council and the Canterbury Regional Council (ECan).
