TNB myGREEN+ Scheme
The myGreen+ Scheme is a Government’s initiative to encourage the use of green energy by the consumers. With the implementation of the myGreen+ Scheme, the consumers will have an option to purchase green energy without having to install their own solar rooftop or other renewable energy installations.

myGreen+ scheme is offered to all customers and customers may opt to subscribe to purchase the myGreen+ in 100 kWh blocks at the rate of 8 sen/kWh.

How This Affects Your Business?
myGreen+ scheme supports individual customer or corporate buyers that are conscious about being environmental friendly and pursue their green agenda such as to meet their sustainable targets, offsetting carbon credit, and for green (“eco-friendly”) brand image with the issuance of myGreen+ Certificate by TNB.
Eligibility
You are eligible to enroll for myGreen+ if
** You are an Eligible Consumer of TNB.
** Delinquent consumers who have not paid their bills and/ or are involved in meter tampering cases may not be eligible to apply for the myGreen+ Scheme.
** The resources for producing electricity for the purpose of the myGreen+ Scheme will be from the renewable energy resources as determined and approved by the Commission from time to time.
** The total subscription of the Green Energy Quota of all of the myGreen+ Consumer must not exceed the allocated monthly Green Energy Quota as published on TNB’s website.
Additional Requirements
** Customers who wish to enroll for myGreen+ must sign Green Energy Agreement.
** Customers must sign up for e-mail billing.
** For customers whose monthly consumption level falls below their subscribed level for 3 consecutive months, TNB will issue notification letter and update new myGreen+ subscription. This would enable to free up the quota for other subscribes.
** Customer can increase or reduce their green energy consumptions blocks any time after the enrolment without additional charges and sign new agreement.
myGreen+ Billing
For every Billing Cycle Period :
** where the electricity consumption of the myGreen+ Consumer is more than its subscription of green energy, the myGreen+ Consumer will be billed the sum of the following in addition to other applicable charges
i. the charges for the electricity consumption will be calculated by multiplying the units of energy of electricity consumption (in kWh) by the normal prevailing tariff in the Tariff Schedule; and
ii. the charges for the subscription of the blocks of green energy will be calculated by multiplying the units of green energy subscribed (in kWh) by the myGreen+ Tariff in the Tariff Schedule.
