FAQs :
What is broadband internet?
Broadband is a high-speed internet access that is always on and is faster than dial-up. It is usually transmitted through a Digital Subscriber Line (DSL).

How can I apply for OGERO DSL?
You can apply by calling 1515, by mail on the Ogero website, or through one of the Point of Sales (POS) offices listed on the Ogero website.

How long does it take to have my OGERO DSL service get installed?
Usually 10 to 15 days, though this duration is tentative.

What is the maximum download speed that I can get through my internet?
For ADSL : Approximately 20 Mbs Download and 1.5 Mbs Upload.

For VDSL : Approximately 90 Mbs download though it depends on distance and line condition (speed decreases as distance between center and modem is greater than 800m) and about 3-5 Mbs Upload. It is important to note that the upload speed of VDSL, like download speed, tends to increase or decrease based on line condition and distance.

What do you mean by open speed?
An open speed connection means that the speed of the connection will always operate at the current limit of the copper/fiber transmission.

How can I upgrade my plan of DSL to a new package according to the new tariff?
By calling 1515, or through email via Ogero website, or through one of the Point of Sales offices listed on this website.

How can I perform a speed test?
A speed test mechanism on the Ogero website itself is in the process of being implemented; otherwise you can use one of many third party applications to test your speed.

What is VDSL?
VDSL stands for .Very Fast Digital Subscriber Line., and it is faster than the typical ADSL line.
