Procedure for obtaining license :
** A person who wishes to receive a license to practice pharmacology in Israel must successfully complete the government licensing examinations in this profession.

** The procedure for obtaining a license to practice pharmacology includes the following steps (detailed information appears below) :
** Submission of an application for a license by the applicant, with the required documents attached
** Assessment of the applicant’s eligibility to take the examination (for graduates of a university abroad)
** Internship and Examination
** Temporary and permanent license

Submitting an application for a license :
** The request must be sent, along with the required documents, by registered mail to the Medical Professions Licensing Department, Ministry of Health, as detail at “Service Details” below.
** Assessment of the applicant’s eligibility to take the examination
** After the application documents are received, eligibility to take the examination is assessed by the Medical Professions Licensing Department, and the applicant will be sent notification inviting him to an examination, together with a payment slip for the NIS 330 processing fee.

Internship and Examination :
** Graduates of an Israeli university
** These candidates undertake an internship in the framework of their university studies.
** Graduates of an overseas university
** If they undertook an internship of 6 months after receiving the pharmacy degree or during the final year of studies, they will be directed to the licensing examination and will not have to undertake an internship in Israel.
** If they did not undertake an internship, or the internship that they undertook was incomplete and/or not recognized by the Division of Medical Professions, they will be required to undertake an internship in Israel.

Graduates of an overseas university :
** 2 passport photographs.
** 2 photocopies of you identification card, including the attachment showing your address.
** Tourists : Photocopy of your passport with a valid Israeli visa.
** Questionnaire for health care professionals in two copies
** Application to take the government licensing examination for pharmacists in 2 copies
** Final degree from a recognized university, or a certification from the university that you have completed your studies and have fulfilled all requirements to be eligible for a degree in pharmacology, which will be awarded at a certain time.
** Official confirmation of the studies start and completion dates.
** Matriculation certificate.
