Procedure :

**Theoretical and practical examination
** Temporary and Permanent license

Submission of an application for a license by the candidate, with the required documents attached :
** The request must be sent, along with the required documents, by registered mail to the Medical Professions Licensing Department, Ministry of Health, as detail at “Service Details” below.
** The request must arrive to the Medical Professions Licensing Department 45 days prior to the date of the exam.

Examination for the applicant :
** The examinations are administered by the Dental Health Department twice per year (winter examination and summer examination) and are publicized on this website and the daily newspapers.
** The examinations consist of two parts : part 1 – a theoretical examination and part 2 – a practical examination. An applicant who has successfully passed the theoretical examination will be eligible to take the practical examination.

Examination Fee :
** Qualified Dental Technician – The fee for the phase A examination is currently NIS 448, and the fee for the phase B examination is NIS 563.
** Expert Dental Technician – The fee for the phase A examination is currently NIS 448, and the fee for the phase B examination is NIS 563.
** A copy of the fee slip should be sent by fax or email, and the slip should be handed over on the day of the examination.

Temporary certificate :
Those who successfully complete the examination will be sent a payment slip for the temporary permit fee of NIS 229 (this amount changes from time to time). It can be paid

** Questionnaire for workers in the health care professions (2 copies).
** passport photographs.
** photocopies of your identification card, including the attachment showing your address. Tourists : Photocopy of your passport with a valid Israeli visa.
** Application to take the government licensing examination for qualified and expert dental technicians(2 copies).
** Certificate of completion of a recognized dental technicians course.
** Official certification of the date that you commenced and completed your studies.
