You can apply for a replacement WWC Card using our online services, if your WWC Card is lost, stolen or damaged. The fee for a replacement is $11.00 and is non-refundable.

You will need to login to our online services to request a replacement WWC Card. If you have not already registered for our online services you might not be able to request a replacement WWC Card online as you need your WWC Card number to register. In this case you can contact our call centre on (08) 6217 8100 or 1800 883 979 (for country callers).

After logging in :
** please check that your address details are up to date (so your replacement WWC Card can be sent to the correct address), select the ‘Update My Details’ option if required,
** select the ‘Replacement Card Request’ option,
** select the replacement reason, submit the request and
** pay the required fee using either your credit card or debit card.

If you do not use the online replacement WWC Card facility you should contact the WWC Screening Unit and request a replacement WWC Card. A letter will be sent to you to sign and present at an authorised Australia Post outlet along with the $11.00 fee. A replacement WWC Card will then be sent to you.

Frequently Asked Questions

1. Can I use my WWC Card in other states or territories?
Your Western Australian WWC Card is only valid in Western Australia (WA) and the Christmas and Cocos (Keeling) Islands. If you move interstate, you will need to check the Working with Children requirements in that state or territory and apply through their system.

If you have a WWC Card from another state or territory and you are moving to WA, you will need to apply for a WWC Check in WA if you are engaging in child‑related work

2. Does applying for a WWC Check automatically mean I’m registered for online services?
No. To access our online services you will need to register via our website. You are not automatically registered for online services when you submit a WWC Check application form through Australia Post. You will need to create a username and password as part of the process.

3. I am trying to register for WWC Check online services, but my information is not accepted. What should I do?
To register for our online services the information you provide must match the information we have from your previous WWC Check application. It is possible there may be some minor scanning errors from your previous handwritten application form.

Please phone the WWC Screening Unit to discuss your situation. For us to assist you to register, or correct any errors in your information, you will need to be able to prove your identity.
