Rates : For each SMS you send to 8701, 50 cents will be charged to your bank account on top of your telephone operator’s normal SMS fees – Emtel Rs. 1.00 (post-paid) & Rs 1.10 (prepaid) / my.t Rs. 1.10 (post-paid et prepaid) / MTML Rs. 0.50 (post-paid et prepaid).
SMS Alerts will be sent when :
** Your salary is credited to your account
** Your term deposit reaches maturity
** Your standing order has failed
** Your direct debit has failed
For each SMS Alert you receive, Rs. 1 will be charged to your account.

Easily reload your mobile credit instantly – anywhere, anytime. Simply send a text message (SMS) to 8700 and receive more credit instantly. You won’t have to find a shop, a scratch card or an ATM.
Furthermore, you can register five beneficiaries for whom you’d like to buy credit via your own mobile phone.
Please bring the following documents :
** National Identity card or passport
** Birth or marriage certificate
** Proof of address (CEB, CWA, Mauritius Telecom bill). If the bill is in another person’s name, please bring along an authorization letter from this person together with a copy of his/her National ID card.
