1. Where is this service available from?
This service is available at DCRCHQ only.
2 When will my name change/dob correction service completed?
The standard service delivery time for name change/correction of DoB is 1 day from the day of submission of the duly completed name change/correction of DoB application form along with the required supporting documents.
3 Who can apply for this service?
A Bhutanese citizen/ SRP holder who is/are registered with the DCRC and wanted to process for necessary changes according to the valid supporting documents.
4 What are the documents required?
To avail this service, you will need :
i Duly completed application form (BCRS-NC & AC-01) along with the following relevant documents : with class X, XII and degree certificates or highest academic certificate obtained (Original certificates must be produced for authentication/attestation)
ii Armed Forces : Copy of service record certified by record officer along with class X, XII and degree certificates or highest academic certificate obtained (Original certificates must be produced for authentication/attestation)
iii Judiciary, Autonomous Agencies and Corporations : Copy of service record certified by personnel/HR officer along with class X, XII and degree certificates or highest academic certificate obtained (Original certificates must be produced for authentication/attestation)
iv Monks and Nuns : Certification by Zhung Dratshang/ Uzin/ Head of institution
v Students : Copy of academic certificate or highest academic certificate obtained (Original certificates must be produced for authentication/attestation)
vi Private Employees : Certification by the employer along with class X, XII and degree certificates or highest academic certificate obtained (Original certificates must be produced for authentication/attestation)
vii Others : Certification by Tshogpa with endorsement of Gup/ Thromde Thuemi for Thromde
5 What is the applicable fees?
There are no fee requirement for this service.
