Scholarship Scheme For Special Children :
These Fijian Government Scholarships for local studies is given in recognition of the constitutional right to education of all Fijians for our special children “Children With Special Needs”.

QUALIFYING INSTITUTIONS :
** Safe Care Homes registered with the Department of Social Welfare
** Special Schools that accommodate children with special needs.
ELIGIBILITY :
1. Applicants must be Fijian Citizens.
2. No cut of marks of level of studies as pre-requisite.
3. Acceptance by qualifying institutions is essential
4. All applications must be endorsed by the Management of safe care homes/special schools.
SCHOLARSHIP PRIVILEGES :
** School fees. Tuition and other school fees based on the Statement of Account/Bill/Official Receipt payable directly to the Higher Education Institute.
NOTIFICATION OF AVAILABLE SCHOLARSHIPS :
Towards the end of each High School academic year, the Board shall publish in the local media, the priority areas that will be given consideration. Applicants will be invited to apply for the available scholarships.
APPLICATION REQUIREMENTS :
To be considered for a SSSC Scholarship Award, eligible applicants must complete an application form and submit it to TSLB by the due date for each year.
The application must include:
** A completed application form (Form TSLB 03)
** Offer letter from the Higher Education Institute.(To be submitted before an offer is made from TSLB).
** Original Birth Certificate
** Students TIN Letter/FRCA-FNPF Joint Card
** 2 recent Passport Size Photos
Submission of Application Form :
** The application form (TSLB 03) starting on page 3 is a fill able pdf file. Fill it out completely electronically, and then submit. Note that the application requires a signature. You may provide an electronic signature.
** Submitting a completed application package does not guarantee approval
** Late and incomplete applications will not be considered.

** Online Applications Status Indicators
** Once the online application is submitted, the following status indicators will appear on the applicants account

Status Description :
** Incomplete Requirements are incomplete and needs to be submitted. Revisit your application and re-submit
Pending Approved :
** Complete applications submitted and awaiting TSLB’s assessment and decision.
** Application assessed and successful. Proceed with printing offer letter and bond forms. Complete the requirements and submit to TSLB within 14 days of the offer.
Declined Confirmed :
** Application declined.
** Confirmed Signed offer letter and bond form submitted. Proceed with printing the online conformation of award letter and submit to your Higher Education Institution.
