Obtain a Pre-Paid Parking Card in Dubai

Pre-paid parking cards are divided into two sections A and B. An A-card holder has the right to park in all car parks.

A B-card holder has the right to park only in B-marked car parks. In case you do not have a pre-paid parking card, you can use coins or the Nol card to pay for temporary parking.

Validity period:
3 months, 6 months, 12 months.

Fees

A:
3 months = AED700
6 months = AED1,300
12 months = AED2,500

B:
3 months = AED450
6 months = AED800
12 months = AED1,500

N.B.:
A customer can obtain one card for one car, two cars or three cars, provided that this is mentioned when obtaining the card and that the plate numbers of the two or three cars are stated on the card.

Card holders are not entitled to park in the car parks of:
** Dubai International Airport.
** Dubai Media City.
** Dubai Internet City.

Car-parking cards for people with disabilities:
People with disabilities have the right to obtain a free car-park card from Dubai Roads and Transport Authority. See details.

Conditions:
** A medical report from a government hospital or the management of a rehabilitation and training centre for people with disabilities showing the patient’s case and if it is permanent or temporary should be submitted.
** The applicant should be a holder of a driving licence or own a vehicle registered in his/her name in Dubai.

Applying For A Permanent Parking Permit For People With Disabilities :
** This service enables you to apply for a parking permit for people with disabilities. This permit facilitates the movement of the customer with permanent disabilities.

Eligibility :
** Citizens and residents with permanent disabilities are eligible to apply for this service.

Required documents :
** Copy of the passport
** Copy of the Emirates ID
** Copy of the residence visa
** Proof of Dubai citizenship, or a residence visa from Dubai, or a registered vehicle in Dubai

** Original + copy of the “People with disabilities” card issued by the Ministry of Community Development or “Sanad Card” issued by the Community Development Authority or a not-more than 3 month-old medical report indicating the customer’s health condition

Output :
** Parking permit for people with permanent disabilities.

Service fees : This service is free.
Validity : 5 years.

Process

Through mobile application :
** The customer uploads the scanned required documents
** The customer waits 5 days to receive the approval of the medical committee on the presented medical report. In case the customer submits a “People with disabilities” card or a “Sanad” card, the permit is issued on the same day
** The customer receives the permit through the courier company without any extra charges.

Through service centre :
** The customer presents the requested documents at the service centre

** The customer waits 5 days to receive the approval of the medical committee on the presented medical report. In case the customer submits a “People with disabilities” card or a “Sanad” card, the permit is issued on the same day

** The customer receives the permit in person or through the courier company without any extra charges.

Terms and conditions :
** The permit is valid in all the emirates
** The customer who has the permit must be inside the vehicle when using the parking spot or else a fine will be issued.
