Minagric Authorization For Laying Hens Farms

Description:
It concerns laying hens farms, namely Gallus-gallus hens which have reached laying maturity and kept for egg production not intended for hatching.

The current described procedure is not implemented in: – installations with less than 350 laying hens – installations for the rearing of laying hens

** Fee which varies according to the Regional unity

Conditions:
I of the P.D 216/2003 (OG 181/A) the requirements for the installation of the laying hens farms are analytically foreseen.

Procedure:
Step 1:
The beneficiary appears in the Offices of the Directorate of Rural Economy and Veterinary of the Regional Unity where the headquarter of his activities is located, submits an application providing all the information of the Annex II of the P.D 216/03 (OG181)

Step 2:
The Directorate of Rural Economy and Veterinary service of the Regional Unity following a cooperation with the Zootechnical authority at prefectural level, is carried out a check in the farm

Step 3:
The competent Directorate of Rural Economy and Veterinary Regional Unity introduces to the local Regional Governor the authorization following a cooperation with the competent Zootechnical Authority at prefectural level, providing that after the check it has verified that all the requirements of the aforementioned P.D are met

Step4:
The authorization is granted under the Decision of the local Regional Governor in the headquarter of each laying hen farm

Step 5:
The authorized unit is registered in a record set up and kept in the Directorate of Rural Economy and Veterinary Regional Unity in the area where the headquarter of this unit is located and receives a number.. The registration is carried out after issuing a decision by the Head of the Directorate of Rural Economy and Veterinary Regional unit.

Step 6: The Decision should be notified to the person responsible for the unit by which the number of the unit is referred.
