Test Facilities for ADR Testing for Hazardous Goods Vehicles :

Description:
An ADR Test Facility carries out regular ADR testing on hazardous goods vehicles

General Documents:
** Application – Solemn Statement for the accrediation of test facilities for ADR testing for hazardous goods vehicles
** (Obligatory Document)
** Decision of the Ministry of Development on accreditation of ADR Test Facilities for pressure container testing
** According to article 2.of MD No. 32591/3257/2001 (GG issue No. 703/?’) as amended and currently in force
** Declaration or agreement of cooperation between facility and accredited expert(s)
** Declaration that the test lab is equipped for ADR testing of vehicles

For the test laboratory of dangerous goods vehicles:
** Contract (IRS-certified private agreement) between the owner of the specific establishment and the ADR Test agency
** This agreement is submitted by the person in charge of the agency when the authorised agency has a lab in a leased space. The contract or agreement shall refer to the fact that this specific and clearly defined space is leased for the establishment and operation of an ADR test lab for dangerous goods vehicles.

For the test laboratory of dangerous goods vehicles:
** Cooperation contract between the accredited agency and the agency to be accredited for testing dangerous goods vehicles
** The two agencies conclude a contract and file it when the new agency does not own a lab, or rent a lab but cooperates with a lab owned by another ADR test facility accredited by the Ministry.

For the test laboratory of dangerous goods vehicles:
** Topo diagram of the greater area
** Sketch of hazardous goods testing lab
** The sketch shall outline building dimensions, shall at least include the sheltered spaces (manoeuvring – waiting area for vehicles, traffic connection to existing road network).
** Valid test facility accreditation certificate for dangerous goods vehicles
** Accreditation certificate from the Hellenic Accreditation System S.A., and the accompanying EPED for facility accreditation according to ELOT ?? ISO/IEC 17020 standard

Procedure:
Step 1:
The applicant files an application with all necessary supporting documents at the Vehicles Technology Dept of the Ministry of Infrastructure, Transport and Networks

Step 2 :
The Dept officer receives the application and supporting documents and reviews whether they :

Step 3:
Within 90 days, and on condition that all conditions are met, a decision of the Minister for Infrastructure, Transport and Networks is issued on the accreditation of the ADR test facility
