** Original vehicle papers (customs certificate – transform certificate – possession certificate)
** Insurance 13 months from registration date (electronic)
** Copy of valid passport (with valid residency for resident)
** Copy of ID
** Copy of valid driving license
** Copy of trading license and certificate from the chamber of commerce and industry for companies (valid)
** Technical test for used vehicles
** UAE standard and specification certificate for imported used vehicles.
** Registration for companies such as(taxi, drive teaching schools, rent offices, light and heavy transfer vehicles) should get a previous permit for vehicle registration

Steps and Procedures of Applying for Service:
** Proving the employee with the required documents and getting the electronic q-number.
** The employee enters the information into the E-System, collects the fees, and provides the
** customer with the vehicles ownership and the receipt of the vehicle’s plates.
** Proving the customer with the vehicles plates.

Issuing a Replacement for a Damaged Light Vehicle›s Driving License :
Service Description :
** A service rendered by Vehicles and Drivers› Licensing Dept through which a replacement for a damaged light vehicle›s driving license can be issued.

** Damaged driving license.
** One personal photo.
** ID photocopy.
** A valid passport photocopy

Steps and Procedures :
** Receptionist receives required documents from applicant and hands him a service ticket to be served.
** Entering information in the traffic system and then service officer collects fees from applicant.
** Delivering the applicant his new driving license

Service Limitation : ** Applicant should pay all traffic fines registered in his traffic record.
