Cancellation of Work Permit for Domestic Workers & Equivalents:

Description of Service:
Cancellation of work permits for domestic help who have ended their work or would like to transfer permit in order to facilitate the process of their travel back home this clear leave the responsibility of guarantor according to law and the rules and regulations of the law.

Required Terms of Service:
** The guarantor or his legal representative must be present to implement the service.
** Applications must be separated in case of having more than one application and each request must have its own documents

Required Documents:
** Service request form.
** The original passport and a clear copy of the domestic help passport.
** A clear copy of the guarantor’ ID
** A copy of the applicant’s ID.

Procedures:
** Go to Nationality, Passport & Residence Affairs, make sure to provide the required documents and follow the submission procedures.
** Fill out the application form and wait for your service number on the screen.
** Go to the concerned employee to submit the required documents and follow up number.
** Pay the fees and receive your receipt.

Fees:
If work permit is valid Free
If work permit is invalid 15 BD

Terms and Conditions:
** The NPRA shall hold all information provided con?dential.
** The representative of the employer or guarantor shall act within the limits of the authorization.
** The NPRA reserves the right to approve a request or reject it.

** The visitor or resident is not permitted to stay in the Kingdom after the expiry of visa or residence permit.
** Visitor must be able to support himself ( and any dependants ) during the visit.
** Visitor is not allowed to take up any employment.

** Visitor shall hold a valid passport and return ticket.
** Holding a visa does not guarantee entry to the Kingdom of Bahrain unless it meets all conditions and the holder has required documents on arrival to be granted entry, at the discretion of the Passport Officer at the port.

** The application is subject to Laws and Regulations of the Kingdom of Bahrain, and the penalties for irregularities desecribed in Penal Code and particular laws in this regard. The NPRA has the right to order the repatriation of any expat at any time, on violation of laws, and regulations by the expat or the employer or the guarantor.

** The visitor must provide the address of his residence in the Kingdom.

The application shall be rejected :
1. If the data and documents provided is incorrect.
2. If it does not meet the conditions required for visa or residence permit.

Issuance of residence permits to children of Bahraini mothers married to foreigners
Description of Service :
** Issuing residence permits to children of Bahraini mothers married to foreigners for two years only renewal are subject to the rules and regulations according to the law.

Required Terms of Service:
** The Bahraini mother must attend in person or through her legal representative to implement the service.
** Applications must be separated in case of having more than one application and each request must have its own documents.

Required Documents :
** Service request form.
** The original passport of son/daughter along with a clear copy of the passport.
** The original valid ID of the guarantor’s (The Bahraini mother) and a copy from the ID. .

** The original passport of the foreign husband along with a clear copy of his passport.
** The original copy of the marriage contract issued from the legal courts of Bahrain along with a clear copy of the contract
** Birth certificate issued from the Ministry of Health in Kingdom of Bahrain or equivalent.
** A copy of the applicant’s ID.
