Replacement of Teachers Who Exited Service

The Teachers Service Commission is advertising 1592 posts to replace teachers who have exited service (1048 posts for Primary school teachers and 544 posts for Post Primary schools/institutions teachers).

Eligibility

Eligible candidates should meet the following basic requirements:
(i) Be Kenya citizens.
(ii) Must be 45 years of age and below.
(iii) Must have original Professional and Academic Certificates.
(iv) Must be registered as a teacher as per Section 23 of the Teachers Service Commission Act.

Applicants for vacancies in Primary schools must be holders of P1 certificate and will be selected from the county merit lists compiled during the August, 2014 recruitment exercise.

Applicants for vacancies in Post Primary institutions must be holders of a minimum of Diploma in Education Certificate and should apply to the Secretary, Board of Management of the School/Institution where the vacancy has been advertised and submit a copy to the TSC County Director not later than 14th May 2015.

Caution

(a) The recruitment exercise is free of charge. The Teachers Service Commission would wish to forewarn applicants against fraudsters who might extort money from unsuspecting persons purporting to assist in recruitment.

(b) Successful applicants must not fill employment forms in more than one station as this will lead to disqualification.

Additional Simplified Procedure

To apply for Replacement of Teachers Who Exited Service in Kenya, you can follow these steps:

2. Click on the “Careers” tab.
3. Click on the “Replacement of Teachers Who Exited Service” link.
4. Read the instructions carefully.
5. Download the application form.
6. Fill out the application form carefully.
7. Attach the required documents.
8. Pay the application fee.
9. Submit the application form to the TSC office.

The application fee for the Replacement of Teachers Who Exited Service is Ksh. 500.

** A copy of your academic transcripts

    I was among relief teachers who are employed on contract basis. By then my tsc no was not yet out! I work till we close the school. Now my tsc no is out. Should I forward the document back to county director?

    I did the interview for job group N in2014 but no communication so far.

    I am also a p1 A-level teacher promoted to AT1V in 2008. Having waited in despair-I went in person to tsc in may and launched a complain only to receive a letter acknowledging my P1 A level certificate with comments to wait for her communication in due course

    I received a letter of acknowledgement written on 3.06.2015 with comments to wait for further communication in due course. I am still waiting.
