What is the purpose of e-LEJAR? :
1. The taxpayer is able to determine whether his personal details such as address and bank account number had been recorded correctly by IRBM.

2. Through the display of the ledger, taxpayer can check whether records of tax transactions namely assessments, payments and repayments have been updated. As an example, to confirm whether?Scheduler Tax Deduction (STD) payments deducted by the employer have been received and credited by IRBM. It is also to check whether tax assessment submitted through IRBM?s e-Filing has been updated in the ledger.

3. Through the display on the current tax balance position, taxpayer can distinguish whether he has a debit or credit balance. Debit balance means an amount of tax is still outstanding while credit balance means an amount of tax overpaid by the taxpayer.

What are the requirements of e-LEJAR?:
** IC Number and e-Filing password
** Pentium III and above
** Internet line
** Internet Explorer 5.0 and above/ Mozilla Firefox 5/ Opera 9/ Safari

Minimum Requirement Question :
1) What are the minimum requirements in order to use the e-Filing system?
Software :
** Operating System – Microsoft Windows 7 (latest Service pack), Linux or Macintosh.
** Web Browser – Internet Explorer 11.0, Microsoft Edge, Mozilla Firefox 44.0, Google Chrome 46.0 or Safari 5.
** Adobe Reader software to print Acknowledgement Receipt and User Guide.

Hardware :
** Computer (Pentium III and above)
** Internet line (speed 512Kbps and above)

Others :
** Income Tax No.
** PIN No.

e-Filing FAQ :
1) What is e-Filing?
e-Filing is a method to submit the Income Tax Return Form electronically via Internet.

2) Does everyone need e-Filing?
It is recommended for taxpayers to use e-Filing as it is Easy, Fast and Secure.

3) How does the e-Filing process works?
a) Taxpayer that already has a registered Digital Certificate :
** Visit the ezHASiL website (ez.hasil.gov.my) or click the e-Hasil icon on the LHDNM main page (.hasil.gov.my)

** Log in to ezHASiL. Enter your Identification Card No. and Password.
** Select Service -> e-Filing -> e-Form. Select the applicable e-Form.
** Sign using Digital Certificate and submit via online submission.
** Print the e-Form acknowledgement page.

b) Taxpayer who have yet to register for a Digital Certificate :
** Obtain a PIN No. at the nearest LHDNM branch.

Organisation e-Filing PIN no. applciation can be done via :
LHDNM branch/Urban Transformation Center (UTC)/Hasil Service Center (PKH).

Please attach :
i. Completed CP55B form.
ii. Form 49. If CP55B Form is signed by the organisation’s director.
iii. Letter of appointment as organisation’s representative – If CP55B Form is signed by individual other than the organization’s director.
iv. A copy of organisation’s director or representative identification card/passport.

** First Time Login to register for digital certificate.
** Log in to ezHASiL. Enter your Identification Card No. and Password.
** Select Service -> e-Filing -> e-Form. Select the applicable e-Form.
** Sign using Digital Certificate and submit via online submission.
** Print the e-Form acknoledgement receipt.
