What is NTSA Driving License?
National Transport and Safety Authority Act (NTSA) is a statutory body established by the National Transport and Safety Authority Act to bring about sanity in our roads. You can now access NTSA services using your eCitizen account. A driving license is issued as an authority to allow a person to drive a motor vehicle of any class on a road. No person shall be allowed to drive a motor vehicle on road unless he is the holder of a valid driving license or a provisional license endorsed in respect of that class of vehicle.

NOTE :
No driving license or provisional license shall be granted to any person
** Under the age of sixteen years;
** Under the age of eighteen (18) years, except in respect of motor cycles; or
** Endorsed in respect of matatus and motor-omnibuses, unless he
i. Is over the age of twenty four (24) years; and
ii. Has for not less than four (4) years held a license endorsed in respect of motor-cars or commercial vehicles.
Any person driving a motor vehicle on a road shall carry his driving license or provisional license, and on being so required by a police officer, produce it for examination.

To apply for a duplicate driving license from the National Transport and Safety Authority (NTSA) in Kenya, you can follow these steps:
1. Go to the NTSA website: https://www.ntsa.go.ke/
2. Click on the “Driving Licence” tab.
3. Under “Duplicate Driving Licence”, click on the “Apply Here” link.
4. You will be redirected to the NTSA’s duplicate driving licence application website.
5. Click on the “Start Application” button.
6. You will be asked to provide the following information:

** Your date of birth
** Your contact information
** Your email address
** Your password
** Your driving licence number
** Your reason for applying for a duplicate licence

Can NTSA stop playing with people and fix their servers? This is terrible. The servers have been down for days now I cannot even do my driving test booking and it is not even funny. Time is not on our side.
I acquired my DL in 2002,upto Jan 2013. I had been renewing it with all my details in order,come Jan 2013. I went to westlands post office to renew and my name came out different.
