What is the myBills Portal?:
The myBills portal provides a single online location for viewing and payment of bills issued by various Government entities (bill providers). Additionally users of the myBills portal can:
** View notifications posted by bill issuers;
** Receive payment and billing notifications by email and/or SMS;
** Schedule future payments;
** View history of all online payments made;
** View statement of current position;
** Issue various reports;
** Store payment details for future use.

Can I trust the myBills Portal?:
We take security very seriously and place the highest of priorities on protecting your information. The service may only be accessed through and e-ID login and implements the highest industry security standards. It is fully compliant to the Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard (PCI DSS) which defines the security measures to be implemented by organisations handling cardholder information.

Can I store card details for future use?:
Yes, users of the myBills portal may opt to store card details which may then be used to effect payments through the myBills Portal or other eGovernment services. Details are encrypted and stored as per Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard requirements.

Is there a charge for using the myBills Portal?:
No, there are no charges for using the myBills Portal. The myBills Portal is a free eGovernment service.

If I pay a bill today when will the payment be received by the bill provider?:
myBills implements an automated process to immediately notify bill providers about your successful payments.

Can part payments be made from myBills?:
Yes, part payments may be made from from myBills. However, these are only allowed if accepted by your bill provider.

How can I register with a bill payment provider?:
Registration with a bill payment provider may be done through a simple process from myBills. Once logged in to the myBills Portal with your e-ID, you may register with a bill provider by simply selecting the desired provider, from a list of available providers, and choosing the option to add an account. Generally no additional details would be required; however certain bill providers may request the provision of account specific details such as the account number.

How do I know if the payment was successful or not?:
When a payment is successful a provisional receipt will be posted to your account. This will be replaced with a formal receipt once the payment is acknowledged by the bill provider. If your payment was not successful a notification message similar to the below will be displayed on your screen.

What cards does myBills support?:
myBills supports all major credit and debit cards however restrictions may be imposed by some bill providers.

I have queries related to a bill received electronically in the myBills Portal. Who shall I contact?:
Bill providers are responsible for the details of bills posted to the myBills Portal. Any issues related to such bills are to be forwarded directly to the respective provider. Contact details of Bill Providers may be obtained from within myBills.
