Service Location : Departments of Origin

Requisite Documents :
1- Certificate of Origin (form 8 exports)
2- Approved invoice from the exporter
3- Certified copy of the unified statistics form.

4- The exporter affirmation of:
A) Adoption of the data validity and the completion of the shipment procedures according to the origin rules which are stated in the agreement with the exported country.
B) A declaration in compliance with Protocol no (4) on transit certificates (Eur 1) (form attached)
C) A notation by the head of the free zone to indicate that products of the free- zone based production projects are in-house manufactured

4- Forms of certificates of origin required in accordance with the rules of the country to which the certificate shall be released as follows:
1- Arab League Form in compliance with the Agreement on the Facilitation and Promotion of Trade among Arab Countries, which shall be extracted to all Arab countries.
2- Arab Form for bilateral free trade agreements which shall be extracted from (Egypt-Morocco-Tunisia)

3- Movement Certificate Eur 1.Extracted to EU countries:
Italy-Germany-Greece-France-England-Holand-Belgium-Luxembourg-Ireland-Denmark-Spain-Portugal-Sweden-Austria-Finland-Cyprus-Malta-Poland-Hungary-Slovania-Slovakia-Lithuania-Chezck Republic-Estonia-Latvia- Romania- Bulgaria .

4- EUR-MED Certificate and it is extracted to each of EU countries – Turkey – aghader countries ( Tunisia-Morocco- Jordon ) – EFTA Countries ( Switzerland – Norway-Islanda – Lethneshtian )

5- Certificate of origin Form A:
Released to countries of the General System of Privileges (GSP) namely; United States-Canada-Japan-Switzerland-Australia-Norway- Former Soviet Union – EU countries- Turkey Countries party to the GATT Agreement, in addition to WTO countries.

6- Certificate of origin G.S.T.P:
Released to countries participating in the Generalized System of Preferences among Developing Countries; namely: Argentina-Ecuador-Angola-Uruguay-Pakistan-Brazil-
Bangladesh- Benin-Peru-Thailand-Trinidad and Tobago-Tunisia-Algeria-Libya-Indonesia-Iran-Tanzania-Romania-Sudan-Vietnam-Korea-Zaire-Zimbabwe-Sri Lanka-Qatar-Cameroon-Cuba-Colombia-Malaysia- Chile-Iraq-Ghana-Guinea- Philippines-Venezuela-Morocco-Mexico-Mozambique-Nigeria-Haiti-India-Yugoslavia

7 – COMESA Certificate:
Issued to COMESA member countries namely:
Egypt-Libya-Sudan- Ethiopia – Eritrea –Uganda- Rwanda- Seychelles- -Burundi-Zimbabwe -Djibouti- -Madagascar- Sudan-Malawi- Mauritius- Democratic Republic of Congo-Comoros – Switzerland and Angola

8- Textile Form for goods exported to Mexico upon its request

9 – Textile Product Certificate:
Issued as an attachment to EUR1 if requested

Service-Providing Measure :
1- On exporting his consignment, the exporter shall apply for a certificate of origin with its form attached to the application. This form shall be filled out in the appropriate language, meet the requirements of the rules of origin articulated in the Agreement, and indicate the importing country. All documents related to the consignment shall be attached.
2- The certificate shall be reviewed in conformity with the attached documents to verify compliance with the rules of origin.
3- Fees shall be collected
4- The certificate shall be given the code number of the field office concerned, approved and delivered to the exporter

Time Span Required for the Completion of Service : 5-10 Minutes

Applying for inspection certificate either original or a copy thereof :
Service Provider : The Central Directorate for Industrial and Engineering Imports
Service Location : Industrial imports department at GOEIC different branches.

Requisite Documents :
** The application form for inspection certificate, which is available in GOEIC Field Office, filled and signed by the importer or his agent.

Service-Providing Measure :
1- Submit an application form for inspection certificate to the industrial imports department at GOEIC related branch.
2- Accepting the application.
3- Assess inspection fees by the auditor.
4- Collect the fees.
5- Receive the certificate

Time Span Required for the Completion of Service : Immediate.
