Balance Enquiry & Mini Statement :

Balance Enquiry:
** You are be able to check the balance of your mHawala Account.
** Dial *711# from your phone.

** Select Option 9 – My Account, thereafter select Option 1 – Balance
** Enter your PIN number
** You will receive a screen with the information you have entered above (e.g. Please confirm that you want to check the balance on your mHawala account. Press 1 to confirm
** You will receive an SMS with the balance of your mHawala Account

Mini Statement:
** You are be able to check the last four transactions performed on your mHawala Account.
** Dial *711# from your phone.
** Select Option 9 – My Account, thereafter select Option 2 – Last Transactions
** Enter your PIN number
** You will receive an SMS with the last 4 transactions performed on your mHawala Account

Manage your mHawala Account:
** You can manage your mHawala account from your phone as follows:
** Change PIN: For security reasons, customers can change their PIN at any time.
** Dial *711# from your phone.
** Select Option 9 – My Account, thereafter select Option 3 – Change PIN
** Enter your old PIN number
** Enter New PIN (exactly 4 digits)
** Reenter new PIN
** You will receive an SMS: “Password change was successful.”

Language:
** You can choose which language to use for your mHawala.
** Dial *711# from your phone.
** Select Option 9 – My Account, thereafter select Option 4 – Change Language
** Choose 1 for Dari, 2 for Pashto and 3 for English
** Enter your PIN to continue
** You will receive an SMS: “You have changed your mHawala language successfully.”

Send (Transfer) Money:
** You can send or transfer money to any other Etisalat mobile phone user. To send money you must first deposit cash into your own mHawala account.
** To send money, dial *711# from your phone.
** Select Option 2 – Money Transfer
** Enter Recipient number
** Enter the amount in (Afs) you wish to transfer
** Enter your PIN number
** You will receive a screen with the information you have entered above (e.g. Please confirm transfer of Afs 1000
** To 0781202067
** Press 1 to confirm.
** You and the recipient will receive an SMS confirming the transaction.

If you sent money to the wrong number:
Call line 711 immediately and provide them with the number that has erroneously received the cash. You and the Recipient will have to go into an Etisalat shop with positive identification in order to reverse the transaction.
