Note:
** Applicant must submit the application online.
** Applicant must be evaluated and licensed from the Ministry of Health.
** Required approval from minister of Health.
** Applicant present Professional license issued by MOH must not have been suspended ,or should not been subjected for medical negligence or malpractice.
** The good standing certificate is valid for 3 month

The following documents are required to issue a good standing certificate

For government employees :
** Letter from human resource department at the Ministry of Health
** Experience letter from Ministry of Health Medical Facility.

For private sector employees :
** Experience letter from heath care facility attested by medical district.
** Copy of the medical license card.

For both of government employees and private sector employees :
** Copy of valid passport.
** Copy of evaluation certificate.
** Copy of attested qualifications and transcript certificates.
** National Identity.

What if I want to complete the marriage within a consulate in the UAE?
Yes, the pre-marital medical test report must be submitted to the Court and then to the consulate or embassy.

Can I conduct the medical test in one of the private hospitals then get approval from the Ministry of Health & Prevention?
No, you can only go centers approved by the Ministry of Health or accredited centers under the Dubai Health Authority and the Abu Dhabi Health Authority.

What should I do if I work in Abu Dhabi and my fiancée is from Dubai?
You can conduct the medical test in Abu Dhabi’s accredited centers and bring the original or a certified copy of the medical test results to accredited centers in Dubai to complete the necessary procedure.

My fiance & I are from different emirates, do we have to go to the same medical center to complete the testing?
You can conduct the medical test in an accredited center in your emirate and bring the original or a certified copy of the results of the medical test to other accredited centers in the other emirate to complete the procedures.

Do I need to conduct a premarital medical test If I’m non-Muslim?
Yes, It is still necessary to undergo a premarital medical test & give the report to the responsible person so the procedure of marriage can be completed.

I work in the army & it’s difficult to obtain a leave permission form, can my brother or a relative sign the medical report & pre-marital counseling?
It’s preferred that you receive the results yourself, otherwise you can delegate someone to receive the reports only if the results are clean.

Are there any extra fees if I need to receive the reports more quickly?
The medical report of the premarital test is often issued within three working days, there is no urgent option to request the examinations. Therefore, you are advised to set aside a sufficient amount of time for undergoing the medical test.
