How To Apply

** In any TFG store with your ID Book
** Online at TFG.co.za

Step 1 : Go to Home Page Click Start Card Application,then apply screen will be displayed, follow the below steps.

Step 2 : Please select the card you would like to apply for.
Step 3 : The Next Screen Will displayed , Please complete all fields below

Step 4 : Enter RSA ID Number [Please enter a valid 13 digit South African ID number ]
Step 5 : Select Title [Mr/Mrs/Miss]
Step 6 : Enter First Name
Step 7 : Enter Surname
Step 8 : Enter SA Cellphone
Step 9 : Tick I confirm that I agree to be bound by TFG’s terms and conditions. I confirm further that all information provided by me in this application is true, correct and complete
Step 10 : Tick I give TFG permission to contact the Credit Bureau on my behalf at a later stage.
Step 11 : Click Submit Button

Step 12 : Select type of employment

How to Pay

Online with your Master or Visa card:
Sign up on TFG Online and you will be able to pay your account from anywhere on any device using your Master or Visa credit or cheque card

In any TFG store:
Including @home, @homelivingspace, American Swiss, Charles and Keith, Donna-Claire, Duesouth, Exact!, Fabiani, Fashion Express, Foschini, G-star Raw, Hi, Luella, Markham, Mat & May, Sportscene, Sterns and Totalsports store.

An online or ATM transfer:
Setup TFG as a payment recipient online or at your bank to transfer your payments to us directly.

Setup a debit order:
Complete a Debit Order Instruction Form , and then fax or scan and email the form to our Customer Services Department for processing or take to your nearest store. For fax and email addresses click here

FAQ

Q: How do I replace a lost / stolen / damaged card?
A: You will need to block your card, which can be done at TFG Online, in store, or through the customer service call centre. Then you will need to go into your nearest store to sign for and collect your new card. If your card is lost or stolen, you will need to pay a replacement fee of R37.

Q: How do I change my payment plan?
A: Phone customer Service (0860 576 576) and an agent will assist you. Remember that if you are going from a 12 month interest bearing account, to a 6 month interest free account, your installments may increase if you have an outstanding balance.

Q: I am unable to pay my current installment. What can I do?
A: If you are on a 6 month interest free account, you can change to a 12 month interest bearing account. If not, please call customer services to discuss other options.

Q: When is my installment payment due by?
A: Your full installment is due to be paid by the 1st of the following month, or interest will be charged.

Q: How do I activate a debit order / how do I cancel a debit order?
A: Debit orders must be activated or cancelled via email (customerservices@tfg.co.za) or fax (021 937 4451) or at your nearest TFG store. This form can be found here: download debit order form. Debit order cancellations must be made with one month’s written notice.

Q: How does a debit order work?
A: A debit order form authorizes TFG to deduct the total due on your TFG account on a monthly basis indefinitely unless / until you choose to cancel this agreement in writing. Our systems automatically cancels a debit order that goes unpaid for 2 months.

A debit order instruction CANNOT be processed on TFG accounts with the following account status: o Arrear accounts o Charged Off accounts Important note: this method of payment is not offered to customers in Lesotho & Botswana

  2. I am a Namibian citizen. Can I apply for an additional card for my son who is South African citizen?

  3. How does foschini secondary card work? Does both cards get their own credit or they share 1 credit?

  4. I would like to find out if this clients account is approved or declined.

  5. I want to find about the additional card I applied. Application was sent on Monday via email but it was sent again via fax on Friday but I got no respond yet. Can you please let me know what’s happening with the application please?
