Secret Garden Tour Reservation

** Click the blue date for tour reservation. Please note that tour reservation for this month starts from the second Tuesday of the prior month)

** Please bring your reservation confirmation with you on the day of your tour. (Your confirmation can be printed out from”Confirmation and Modify reservation”)
** Ticket Reservations are limited to 10 tickets per person a day.
** Ticket confirmation & cancellation can be made in Confirmation & Update.

** Booked tickets are only available to purchase on the day of the tour.
** The Secret Garden tour requires the extra palace ticket purchase. (Palace ticket : 3,000 won + Secret Garden ticket : 5,000 won, =Total Ticket Price for Person : 8000won)
** Booked tickets should be purchased 20 minutes prior to the tour.

** Visitors to the Secret Garden are required to join a guided tour.
** There are only 100 tickets available per tour. 50 Internet booking in advance and the remaining 50 are sold at a ticket office on the day.

** Even after purchasing a combination ticket, you need to make a reservation on the internet or exchange the ticket at the ticket office to enter the secret garden
** Foreign language tours for the Secret Garden can not be reserved by Korean. (Maximum 2 koreans can join foreign language tours with accompanying foreign visitors.)

How difficult is the Secret Garden tour? Can I prepare a lunch to the Secret Garden?
There are some hills in the garden, so comfortable shoes are recommended. And no foods allowed except water, beverages, drinks.

When can I see apricot flower and fall foliage?
** I know that Changdeokgung preserves its natural environment best in Seoul.
** I want to know when is the most beautiful season for ume flowers and fall foliage?

A) The period is 6th April to 15th April for ume flowers, and about the middle of October to the middle of November for fall foliage.
In addition,
** 10th April to 25th April for cherry flower at flower bed of Daejojeon palace
** 5th May to 20th May for Korean azalea in front of Heejeongdang
** 15th May to 30th May for peony blossom at flower bed of Nakseonjae

** 20th May to 10th June for blooming of persimmon at front yard of Nakseonjae
** You can see cheery flowers at general tour course 31st March 2007 to 15th April 2007 in Changdeokgung. There might be a slight change for the blooming period in accordance with the temperature.
