How To Get Yellow Fever Vaccination in Botswana?
Botswana and other countries require the International Certificate of Vaccination or Prophylaxis as proof of vaccination against yellow fever before entry, particularly travelers from or those who have visited or have transited yellow fever endemic areas. This service is offered at selected health facilities in the country. Visit nearest Health facility that offer the Yellow fever vaccine.

To get a yellow fever vaccination in Botswana, visit an authorized Ministry of Health Public Health Facility. The vaccine is free for citizens and BWP 40 (approximately $3) for non-citizens. You will receive an International Certificate of Vaccination or Prophylaxis (ICVP) upon administration.

Requirements For Botswana Yellow Fever Vaccination
What to bring:
You must bring your valid National Identity card (Omang) or your passport for non-citizens.
When it is needed:
Botswana requires a valid certificate if you are traveling from or transiting for more than 12 hours through a designated yellow fever endemic area.
Validity:
The certificate becomes valid 10 days after the vaccination is administered and remains valid for life
