Botswana and other countries require the International Certificate of Vaccination or Prophylaxis as proof of vaccination against yellow fever before entry, particularly travelers from or those who have visited or have transited yellow fever endemic areas. To get a yellow fever vaccination in Botswana, visit an authorized Ministry of Health Public Health Facility. The vaccine is free for citizens and BWP 40 (approximately $3) for non-citizens. You will receive an International Certificate of Vaccination or Prophylaxis (ICVP) upon administration.
