How To Do URA Payment Registration?

** Go to official website of Uganda Revenue Authority (URA)
** On the URA homepage, Click on e-Services


** Select the appropriate Tax Head and fill in all mandatory fields.
** Under Bank details, choose the preferred Payment mode, e.g. cash, cheque, etc.
** Choose URA’s preferred bank.
** Enter given text image
** On submission, the system will generate a payment registration slip.

Payments:
Here you can generate payment slips (PRNs) to pay your tax obligations, fees and other duties. Also you can re-register your payment and print receipts of your payments

How To Do URA Payment Re-Registration?

You can only re-register a payment if you have its Payment Registration Number, search code and can only change the bank field.

1. Go to https://www.ura.go.ug/

2. On the page that opens, under Payments category, click on Payment Re-Registration.
** On the URA homepage, Click on e-Services
** Click on Payment re-registration
** Fill in the Payment Registration Number, Search Code and click submit.

** Choose the Preferred bank.
** Enter given text image:
** Click on Accept and Register
** Choose the Preferred bank.
** Enter given text image
** On submission, the system will generate a payment registration slip.

How To Print Payment Registration Slip?

Step 1 : Enter Payment Registration Number * and
Step 2 : Enter the Search Code * and
Step 3 : Click Submit the button to Print Payment Registration Slip

** Under need login assistance ,click on don’t have portal account

** You will then be prompted to fill in your TIN,pass code,registration effective date and form for either individual or non individual.but for this case we are creating for individual under “form for”.

** Then click to confirm your details
** After confirming your details, you will receive a message which will be displayed as below .

** The account will be created using the details sent to your registered email address .
** Please check your email address for the default password and use it to login to your account.

Here are the steps on how to do URA payment registration online:
1. Go to the URA website: https://www.ura.go.ug/
2. Click on the “e-Services” tab.
3. Click on the “Payment Registration” link.
4. Enter your TIN number.
5. Select the tax head for the payment.
6. Enter the amount of the payment.
7. Select the payment mode.
8. Enter your bank account details, if applicable.
9. Click on the “Register Payment” button.

A payment registration slip will be generated. You can print this slip or save it to your computer.

** If you are having trouble registering your payment, you can contact the URA helpdesk: +256 414 694 000.

Here are some additional details about the URA payment registration process:
** You can register a payment for any tax head, including income tax, VAT, and excise duty.
** You can choose to pay your taxes in cash, cheque, or bank transfer.
** If you are paying by bank transfer, you will need to enter the URA bank account number for the tax head that you are paying.
** The payment registration slip will contain a payment reference number. This number is important, as you will need to use it to track your payment status.
** Once you have registered your payment, you can make the payment at any URA-approved bank or MTN/Airtel Money agent.
** You can also pay your taxes online using the URA e-Payment system.
