What is Medicine Donation Program (MDP)?
Medicine Donation Program (MDP) is a Short-term assistance for basic medicines is provided and coursed through the government and non-government, non-profit organization and health facilities. To provide qualified public and private institutions engaged in health programs, projects and health care services through donation of basic medicines.

Type of Medicine Donation Program (MDP)
1. The assistance shall be provided to partner organizations/institutions in the form appropriate to the target beneficiaries as follows:
** Medicine Assistance through Main Office (MATMO)
** Medicine Assistance through Branch Office (MATBO)
2. Donations shall be given in the form of basic and essential medicines including vitamins for both MATMO and MATBO
3. Frequency of assistance shall be once in six months
Who May Avail Medicine Donation Program (MDP)?
** Socio-civic and Religious Organizations
** Non-Government Health Institutions
** Non-Stock, Non-profit organizations, or associations
** Charitable institutions engaged in health and welfare-related programsand services
** Government Agencies
** Local Government Units (LGUs)
Documentary Requirement For Medicine Donation Program (MDP)
** Letter of request addressed to the PCSO Chairman/General Manager
** Project Proposal with the following information:
** Organizational Profile
** Schedule of activity, if applicable
** Number of recipients
** Contact details
** Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) Registration for NGO
Note:
This program is under the MSD and not of CAD, therefore, this is to be removed from the Charity Assistance Department as currently posted in the website.

Patient Transport Service :
** The Patient Transport Service / Ambulance shall be utilized mainly for patient transport
** High Risk/ critically Ill patients (i.e. mechanical ventilator or continuous ambu-bagging and highly contagious/infectious diseases cannot be served.
** All conductions shall be from hospital to home, hospital to hospital and shall be served during office hours. Nearby provincial conduction shall be covered if approved by the PCSO Management
** In case of multiple requests for ambulance transport, priority should be based on the urgency of the case and not on a “First-come First served” basis.
** A relative/companion shall accompany the patient during transport
Out Patient Services Program :
The Outpatient services is one of the programs under the Medical and Dental Division (MDD) which includes provision of general medicine consultation basic/minor surgical procedure, dental consultation & treatment, and medicines. To provide equitable, efficient and effective health care services especially for the marginalized sectors through regular operations of the Medical Services Department that will serve the medical, dental and other health related needs of the general public.
