What is CamDigiKey?
Cambodia Digital Key or CamDigiKey is an Electronic Know Your Customer (eKYC) system that is operated by the operator of Cambodia Data eXchange (CamDX). CamDigiKey is not a digital identity. A CamDigiKey account owner who intends to make changes or delete their digital identification data from CamDigiKey has to make a request to change or delete their digital identification data to the CamDigiKey Operator through CamDigiKey.

Who Can Apply For CamDigiKey Account?
Natural persons of Khmer nationality and natural persons of foreign nationality can request to create a CamDigiKey account through the CamDigiKey mobile application. The request to create a CamDigiKey account may be denied in the case where said request does not fulfill the conditions as required in the CamDigiKey mobile application.

Individual Users:
If you are an individual wanting to log into the systems integrated with CamDigiKey you may install CamDigiKey mobile application on your smart phone, create an account and get your account opening approved within a maximum of 8 working hours. Then, you may use the application to scan QR code to log into any system integrated with CamDigiKey.
Business Users:
If you are a public or private institution looking for a trustworthy e-KYC system to onboard your customers, CamDigiKey is also for you. You have the option for (1️) Full Solution Integration and (2) Open KYC APIs.

I have created a CamDigiKey account, but I want to make changes or delete my data from CamDigiKey. What should I do?
A CamDigiKey account owner who intends to make changes or delete their digital identification data from CamDigiKey has to make a request to change or delete their digital identification data to the CamDigiKey Operator through CamDigiKey.
The Operator holds the discretion to either accept or reject the request to change of delete the digital identification data based on the appropriateness of the reason provided by the CamDigiKey account owner or the legal representative of the CamDigiKey account owner.
Who can authenticate and utilize the digital identification data on CamDigiKey?
Those who can authenticate and utilize data on CamDigiKey include ministries, institutions, public entities equivalent to sub-national administrations, public enterprises, public administrative institutions, legal entities benefiting from public finance, companies or commercial enterprises, associations, as well as private legal entities and sole proprietorships that are members of CamDX. There are 2 types of CamDX membership, including automatic membership and applied membership.
Do I have the rights to know how the data I provided is used?
A CamDigiKey data owner has the rights to know how their digital identification data and personal data is being used. All uses of data require the consent of the CamDigiKey account owner every time the data is used through CamDigiKey.
