How To Apply For Barbados Passport?
If you are a citizen of Barbados, you may apply for a passport from the Immigration Department in Barbados, or at one of Barbados’ diplomatic and consular missions abroad.

If you are more than 16 years of age, you should complete an ‘Application for a Barbados Passport’ Form A in your own hand-writing.
Use Block Letters for all names except your signature.
Applications for children under the age of 16 should be made on Form B.
The application form should be accompanied by two (2) photographs.
** The photographs should not be more than five (5) centimetres by five (5) centimetres and should be taken by a professional photographer.
Please ensure that you sign your name in the boxes provided at the bottom of page two of the application form as well as the Declaration at Section 11, page four.

The fees for passports issued by our diplomatic missions overseas vary from mission to mission. You should therefore check with the respective mission regarding the fee schedule.

Adult’s Passport $150
Minor’s Passport (under 16) $100
Businessman’s Passport $225
Emergency Passport / Travel document $150
Replacement of Lost Passport $300
Urgent Passport (required in 1 day) $300
Urgent Passport (required in 2-5 days) $225
All applicants should submit their original birth certificate or proof of citizenship along with their application.
If you do not have an original birth certificate, you may apply for one at the Registration Office, Supreme Court Complex, Whitepark Road,St. Michael, Barbados.

Regular Passports:
For Persons Over Sixteen years of age:
** The previous passport if not applying for the first time
** The completed form
** Two photos
** Birth certificate
** Barbados ID card
** Marriage certificate – if married and female
** Divorce document – if divorced and female
** Citizenship document if not a citizen by birth
** Deed poll if applicable
** Any other documents, as requested

( Minors / Persons under 16 years of age):
** The previous passport if not applying for the first time
** The completed form
** Two photos
** Birth certificate
** Barbados ID of parent
** Deed poll if applicable
** Any other documents, as requested
Parents or guardians must submit the application on behalf of children 16 years or under, accompanied by the minor.
Use Block Letters for all names except your signature, which should be affixed in the boxes provided and in the declaration section (11) of the form. These signatures must not extend beyond the boxes. (example of a signed form )
Birth Certificates must bear a seal from the Registration Department, along with the applicant’s name.
All fees must be paid on submission of applications. Applications will not be accepted without payment of fees.
My niece who lives in the UK wishes to have her mother join her. the mother is 90 years of age and is in need of care- the reason for the visit. How can she get a fast tracked passport so that my nephew who arrives here next week from the UK can accompany her.
I am applying for two minor passports. Do I need to bring the two minors when coming into office?
