USP Student Exchange Application

Criteria:
** A GPA of 3.0 and above
** Students must complete their final semester at USP

** Approval from sponsor to participate in the exchange
** All applicants must be willing to pay USP tuition and other fees prior to departure for the host university
** All applicants must be willing to pay accommodation, meals and medical coverage [where applicable] prior to departing for host university

Applications:
** USP Exchange applications are available at USPI or upon request at international AT usp.ac.
** All exchange applications must be received at USPI by the specified deadline
** All candidates will be notified within 2 weeks of the application deadline
** Shortlisted candidates will be notified of interview times & date via student webmail
** Successful candidates will be nominated to host universities & receive the appropriate application forms
** The decision of the selection committee is final

How To Apply For Usp Exchange:
Step 1:
** Check your student webmail regularly for Exchange opportunities through out the semester

Step 2:
** Ensure you meet the criteria, if you are not sure, please contact USP International on international AT usp.ac.fj or visit https://www.usp.ac.fj/study-at-usp/international-students/
** Read the Exchange application carefully to identify what all you will need to complete your application on time.
** Determine the USP courses you will be taking in the semester you plan to study abroad
** Research host universities of your choice and courses that may transfer back to your USP programme
** If you have difficulties finding courses at the host universities, you may contact USP International

Step 3:
** Print the course outlines or syllabi from the host universities & make an appointment to discuss your options with your USP course coordinators
** If you are applying for two or more programmes/schemes, you will need to print corresponding numbers of the proposed course registration forms with a minimum of 4 and a maximum of 6 courses. All course registration forms must accompany your USP Exchange Application.

Step 4:
** Complete the USP Exchange Application – Manual or Online
** Submit a unique personal statement of 500-1000 words with your application. State the reasons why you want to study abraod; what you hope to gain from the experience; how will the experience contribute to your development & how you intend to promote USP.
** Download 2 reference forms [Academic & Character] from https://www.usp.ac.fj/study-at-usp/international-students/ and submit with your Exchange application

Step 5:
** Submit Your Completed Exchange Application Before The Specified Deadlines
