What is OWWA Repatriation Assistance Program?

Bringing back of distressed OFWs and human remains. Emergency repatriation is carried out in the event of any political unrest or natural calamities. Workers are accorded with airport assistance, temporary shelter at the OWWA Halfway Home, psycho-social counseling, stress debriefing, and transport services or fares for their onward travel to their respective provinces.

How To Avail OWWA Repatriation Assistance Program Service?

1. Visit the OWWA Regional Welfare Office that covers the permanent address of the OFW.
2. Accomplished Application Form or Intake Form

3. Go to designated case officer:
Table 1: Asian Countries
Table 2: Kuwait, Lebanon, Bahrain, Oman and Jordan
Table 3: Qatar, Dubai, Abu Dhabi, Africa and other Middle East Countries
Table 5: North and South Africa, Europe and Seabased Workers

4. Wait for the telephone coordination from the concerned RAD Case Officer:
a. Appropriate coordination with the Legal Service
b. Appropriate coordination, update and service delivery with POLO in concerned job site.

Valid Passport I.D Department of Foreign Affairs (DFA)
Intake Sheet Form OWWA Repatriation Assistance Division (OWWA RAD)
Other Special Requirements:

** Overseas Employment Contract (OEC) or other proof of employment overseas

** Travel Document

** Boarding Pass or Proof of Repatriation

** Philippine Overseas Labor Office (POLO)

** Philippine Overseas Employment Agency (POEA)

2. Once you have your repatriation documents, contact the OWWA Regional Welfare Office (RWO) that covers your permanent address in the Philippines. You can find the contact details of the RWOs on the OWWA website.

3. Submit the following requirements to the RWO:
** OWWA membership card
** Exit visa or passport
** Repatriation flight itinerary
** Other supporting documents, such as a police report or medical certificate (if applicable)

** Airport assistance
** Temporary shelter at the OWWA Halfway Home
** Psycho-social counseling and stress debriefing
** Transportation assistance to your home province

OWWA members are entitled to free repatriation assistance, while non-members may be required to pay a fee.
