Tips For Saving :
1. Decide what is realistic and possible. Start thinking of saving as a necessity and stop thinking that you’ll worry about it when you are older.

2. Save between 10% and 15% of your income. If this is too high, start with a lower goal like between 5% and 6% and work your way up. Once you get into the habit of saving it becomes easier to increase that percentage.

3. The flip side of saving more is spending less. The sooner you curb your spending, the more you can save.
4. Prepare a budget every month. Keep it simple. Just jot down your income versus your expenses. It gives you a visual of your current financial situation.

5. Many people are inclined to pay bills, spend at whim and then only save what is left over. But often the problem is that there’s nothing left to save. The only way around this is to pay yourself first! Arrange for a free monthly Scheduled Payment from your Transactional account to your Savings account.
