How To Apply Police Clearance Certificate?

To Apply Police Clearance Certificate, Follow the below steps
Step 1: Anyone can register to apply for police clearance for own or someone else. Go to the link https://pcc.police.gov.bd/ords/f?p=PCC:REGISTRATION::
Step 2: Registered users please log in to your account, click Apply and fill up the application form properly.
Step 3: Please provide the applicant’s personal details in first page and present and permanent adddress in second page of the application form. The police clearance will be issued from District or Metropolitan Police under which your present address belong to.
Step 4: Please upload scanned copy of all necessary documents. Please avoid uploading unnecessary documents.
Step 5: Please confirm the accuracy of your information and review if necessary by going back. Submit finally when you are sure. You cannot edit the application once you finally submit it.
Step 6: Please follow the instructions to pay the application fee to complete submission of the application.

Fees & Payment of Police Clearance Certificate

The applicants are advised to read the following carefully prior to proceeding further:

** Consular fees are received for processing applications. Hence, consular fees are non-refundable even if an application is rejected or withdrawn.
** Bangladesh High Commission in Canberra and Bangladesh Consulate General in Sydney are two separate entities. Service can’t be provided by the Consulate General of Bangladesh in Sydney against a payment made to the High Commission of Bangladesh in Canberra.
** Fees are subject to change without prior notice.
** The payment of the fee shall be made at least 03 working days prior to submitting the application form [In case of EFT].
** A copy of the payment transaction receipt shall be attached to the application form.
** Cash/personal cheque/Direct Deposit is NOT accepted.
** Credit card/EFTPOS payment is available at the consular counter. Transaction fee of the card company will be applied in addition to the consular fees.

Mode of payment

1. Cash/personal cheque/Direct Deposit is NOT accepted.

The fees may be paid in ONE of the following ways:
**Credit Card/EFTPOS payment at the Consulate’s service counter. [In such case, transaction surcharge of the respective card provider will be charged in addition to the consular fees];
**Electronic Fund Transfer (EFT);
**Postal Money Order/Bank Cheque payable to Consulate General of Bangladesh in Sydne

What is Police Clearance Certificate (PCC)?

“Police Clearance Certificate” is not issued by the Consulate General of Bangladesh. The applicant must apply directly to the respective government agency (Bangladesh Police). Prior to submitting the application, the applicants (only Bangladesh nationals) must get the copy of passport and the authorization letter attested by the Consulate General.

Note: Applicants living in the NSW & Queensland can apply (for the attestation service required to apply for Police Clearance) to the Consulate General for the People’s Republic of Bangladesh, Sydney.

Applicants from all other states and territories are requested to apply to the High Commission of Bangladesh in Canberra.
