Eligibility:
Any individual – Omani/Non-Omani with a deposit of RO 15,000 and/or
Any individual – Omani/Non-Omani with a salary of RO 1,000 and above

Documents:
** Proof of identity (National identity card for Omanis/Passport for expatriates)
** Mazaya Account Opening form
** Salary certificate (for customers working in government/public sector companies)
** Original trade license (for all self-employed customers)
** Salary Transfer Letter (for customers working in private sector companies)

Fees and Charges:
Mazaya Deposit:
RO 15,000 liability relationship across all banking products – RO 5 will be charged if the average balance is less than the minimum relationship value in different Mazaya accounts in any month.

Mazaya Salary :
Minimum Salary credit of RO 1,000 with NBO – . R0 5 will be charged if the minimum Salary of RO 1,000/- is not credited within last 2 months.

Terms & Conditions :

The following Terms & Conditions apply to National Bank of Oman Mazaya accounts in addition to the General Terms & Conditions applicable to accounts held with National Bank of Oman (the ‘Bank’)

1. Mazaya Variants:
Mazaya is classified into the following 2 categories:
Mazaya Deposit
RO 15,000 liability relationship across all banking products – RO 5 will be charged if the average balance is less than the minimum relationship value in different Mazaya accounts in any month.
Mazaya Salary
Minimum Salary credit of RO 1,000 with NBO – . R0 5 will be charged if the minimum Salary of RO 1,000/- is not credited within last 2 months.

2. Membership:
The Bank may grant/refuse/withdraw membership to National Bank of Oman Mazaya customers. National Bank of Oman Mazaya Members may cancel their membership at any time by notice to their National Bank of Oman branch and by surrendering their National Bank of Oman Mazaya Debit and credit card and Mazaya cheque book to their National Bank of Oman Branch.

The bank may at its sole discretion issue a standard National Bank of Oman Card on the National Bank of Oman Card Terms & Conditions as soon as reasonably practicable. From the date of notice cancelling the membership, the withdrawing customer will no longer receive the National Bank of Oman Mazaya benefits and privileges.

3. National Bank of Oman Mazaya Platinum Credit Card:
National Bank of Oman Mazaya Members will be eligible for primary and additional Mazaya Platinum Credit Card from the date of signing for a Mazaya membership. The issue of the Mazaya Platinum Credit Card will be at the Bank’s sole

discretion subject to credit approval. The applicant should read the terms & conditions regarding the operation of the credit card and add-on cards, and confirm reading and agreeing to be bound by the same.

4. National Bank of Oman Mazaya Debit/ATM Card:
National Bank of Oman Mazaya Members shall be issued a special National Bank of Oman Mazaya Debit/ATM card. The operations of this card will be as per the terms & conditions applicable for the National Bank of Oman card. The National Bank of Oman Mazaya card shall replace the National Bank of Oman card for those Members who have already been issued the National Bank of Oman card. The applicant agrees to return his National Bank of Oman card to the Bank on receipt of the National Bank of Oman Mazaya Card.

5. Charges:
National Bank of Oman Mazaya Members shall maintain the minimum relationship value as per the Mazaya variants across their Savings Account, Al Kanz Savings Account, Al Amaal, Fixed Deposit, Instant Return Deposit, Long Term Deposit, Insurance, Investments and other Accounts. The Member authorizes the bank to debit a fee to his Savings Account, Current Account or Al Kanz Saving Account if the minimum relationship value as per the Mazaya variants is not maintained in any month, as per the Bank schedule of charges. The same shall apply for none credit of the minimum salary within 2 months.

6. Amendments to the Terms & Conditions:
The Bank reserves the right to add, delete or modify any of the above mentioned terms and conditions and such altered or additional terms and conditions shall be binding on all the existing customers. Any changes or amendment to this Terms and Conditions will be informed 30 days in advance to the customer.
