Promotional Campaign Permit:

Issuance of a promotional campaign permit for a license in Sharjah, or in another emirate or for a government entity

This permit includes:
Special offers, prize campaigns, tasting campaigns, free distribution, display stand, product demonstration among others.

Required Documents:
** A letter (in Arabic) which includes: Method of campaign, start and end dates, sites to be covered by the campaign, prizes breakdown (if any) and value, and a breakdown of the number of draws (if any) with the dates and locations.
** In case of prize distribution, a bank guarantee covering the value of the prizes which is equal to or exceed AED 10,000 must be submitted, provided that it should be valid as of the start and until two months after the end of the campaign.
** In case of promoting food products, the approval of Food Control Section-Department of Public Health at Sharjah Municipality MUST be obtained.
** In case of promoting medical and therapeutic products, the approval of the Ministry of Health in Sharjah MUST be obtained.

How to get it:
** The investor or his representative need to be present
** The required documents are presented to the Sales and Promotions employee
** After the procedure is done and the receipt voucher is paid, the permit is printed
** The permit is to be hanged in a clear place in the establishment

** Big Campaign (Free gifts worth in total equal to or more than Dhs50000 when buying from the shop’s products)Dhs2250
** Small Campaign for a Bank (Free gifts or benefits worth in total less than Dhs50,000): Dhs1250
** Big Campaign for a Bank (Free gifts or benefits worth in total more than Dhs50000): Dhs2250
** Small Annual Campaign (Discounts or free gifts worth in total less than Dhs50000 when buying from the shop’s products): Dhs15000
** Big Annual Campaign(Discounts or free gifts worth in total equal to or more than Dhs50000 when buying from the shop’s products): Dhs25000

** First level: includes 8 offers: Dhs15000 yearly
** Second level: Up to five offers: Dhs10000 yearly
** Third level: Less than five offers: Dhs5000 yearly
** Simple Offers for Restaurants: Dhs500, and Dhs250 for each extra branch
