What is Booster Dose?

A ‘booster dose’ is the extra dose of COVID-19 vaccine used to give better protection to people who have already had their first round of COVID-19 vaccination. Booster vaccines are currently only available to people aged 16 or older. You need to wait 3 months (at least 90 days) after your first round of COVID-19 vaccination before you can get a booster.
