Who Can Get?

To receive the GST Voucher – MediSave in 2021, you must fulfil the following criteria-
** You must be a Singapore citizen, residing in Singapore*
** You must be aged 65 and above in 2021;

** The Annual Value of your home (as indicated on your NRIC) as at 31 December 2020 must not exceed $21,000; and
** You must not own more than one property.

* Dual citizenship is not allowed under Singapore law. Those who hold foreign citizenship will not be eligible for the GST Voucher scheme, regardless of whether they simultaneously hold Singapore citizenship.

How will I know if I qualify for the 2021 GST Voucher – MediSave?
To check your 2021 GST Voucher eligibility, you may log in to Your GST Voucher from 1 June 2021. Eligible Singaporeans will be notified in June 2021.

Sign Up

1. Do I need to sign up for and/or how do I check if I have signed up for my 2021 GST Voucher – MediSave if I am eligible?
If you have signed up previously for a Government payout (e.g. the 2020 GST Voucher), no action is needed? to receive your GST Voucher – MediSave. It will automatically be credited to your CPF MediSave Account.

If you have not signed up previously, you may Sign Up online. You may also use the link to check if you have signed up previously.

You only need to sign up once. If you have already signed up for the GST Voucher – Cash, you do not need to separately sign up for the GST Voucher – MediSave.

Sign-up for the 2021 GST Voucher begins on 1 June 2021. The deadline to sign up is 30 April 2022.

2. How do I sign up for the GST Voucher?
If you are eligible and have not signed up previously, you may Sign Up online from 1 June 2021. The deadline to sign up for the 2021 GST Voucher is 30 April 2022.

Payment

1. When and how will I receive my 2021 GST Voucher – MediSave?
If you are eligible and have signed up for a previous Government payout (e.g. the 2020 GST Voucher), you will receive your GST Voucher – MediSave in your MediSave Account by 30 July 2021.

If you have not signed up previously, you will need to Sign Up. The deadline to sign up for the 2021 GST Voucher is 30 April 2022. You will receive your GST Voucher – MediSave in your CPF MediSave Account according to the dates below.

FAQs

1. Can I withdraw my GST Voucher – MediSave?
As a top-up to your CPF MediSave Account, the GST Voucher – MediSave will form part of your CPF monies and will be subjected to CPF withdrawal rules.

2. What can the GST Voucher – MediSave be used for?
The GST Voucher – MediSave, which will be credited to your CPF MediSave Account, can be used to pay for your own or your immediate family members’ hospitalisation expenses, incurred at any of the participating medical institutions under the MediSave Scheme.

MediSave can also be used to pay for day surgeries and approved outpatient treatments listed in the CPF website.
