1. Will there be a charge to receive the COVID-19 vaccine?
Vaccine doses purchased and administered by the Government of The Bahamas will be given to the Bahamian people at no cost. However, vaccination providers will be able to charge an administration fee for giving the shot to someone.

The AstrazaZeneca and Johnson and Johnson vaccines are available to Bahamians and residents 18 years of age and older. The Pfizer vaccine is available to those 12 years of age and older.

The Government of The Bahamas has signed on to the COVAX facility and through this agreement, has made the AstraZeneca vaccine available.
The Bahamas has also received a donation of the Pfizer vaccine from the Government of the United States. The Bahamas also has supplies of the Johnson and Johnson vaccine.
