How To Register For BCA Singapore ORV?

Steps :
Step 1 : Due to the current COVID-19 situation, registration is strictly via online1 only. Counter Registration will not be available.
Step 2 : Please log on to www.bca.gov.sg/orv to book your appointment.

Step 3 : Upon successful booking, we will notify you of the allocated time slot for the date of appointment you have selected nearer to the appointment date via email separately.

Step 4 : Please ensure that your email address is updated in the ORV website under “My Details”.
Step 5 : To prevent inter-mixing of workers, each registration should only comprise of workers from the same company.

Note : Verification fees – $34 inclusive of GST

Payment

** On the appointment date, please proceed to the Verification Counter located at BCA Campus, at Block C level 1 for payment and identity verification. Only e-payment (i.e. VISA, NETS and Credit Card) are available.

Things to Note:

** With effect from 17 May 2021, the TraceTogether Token or App will be required for entry into BCA Campus. Please ensure that your worker has either TT token or app to enter the premises.

** Please show that your worker’s AccessCode status is Green on the day of appointment for entry to BCA Braddell campus. For workers holding In-Principle Approval (IPA) letter for work pass application and are unable to show AccessCode/AccessCode shows Red (Invalid), please produce the following documents

i. Served and completed their Stay Home Notice (SHN) (where required) / exemption notice of SHN for recovered workers, if they have just arrived in Singapore,
ii. Negative result in a COVID-19 test taken locally within the last 14 days

** On appointment day for verification, please arrive 15 minutes prior to the appointment time to clear security checks at the entrance and be punctual for your appointment.

If you are late, please make a new appointment. Please do not attend the appointment if you feel unwell or if you are on medical leave

** There is no postponement of appointment date for late comers or absentees. Please make a new appointment.
** Slots for online booking are limited, to prevent congregations of workers. Applicants can select a later date if the preferred dates are unavailable.

** Do not make an appointment when your workers are serving Stay-Home Notice (SHN) / Quarantine Order (QO).
** All applicants are to meet the COVID-safe Dedicated Transport Requirements.

** BCA reserves the rights to disallow workers from entering BCA premises and to cancel their verification appointment due to any non-compliance.

Documents Required For BCA Singapore ORV Registration

The Employer’s representative is required to bring the foreign worker together with the following documents. Online Registration For Identity Verification for Foreign Workers (ORV)

** A copy of this email notification;
** A copy of the Collection Confirmation Slip;
** Original In-principle Approval (IPA) for Work Permit Letter;
** Workers’ original Passport;

** Documents to demonstrate that the worker has served and completed his Stay Home Notice (SHN) (where required) / exemption notice of SHN for recovered workers, if he has just arrived in Singapore; and

** Documents to demonstrate that the worker have negative result in a
COVID-19 test taken locally within the last 14 days

Introduction

ORV allows you to register the workers for Identity Verification and check your registration status online. The Identity Verification is to be done before the workers proceed to MOM to apply for Work Permit. You will need approximate 10 minutes to complete the online submission for each worker.

Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ) On Online Registration For Identity Verification for Foreign Workers (ORV)

1. Who can apply for foreign worker’s identity verification?
Only the employer of the foreign worker as indicated on the IPA, an authorized staff or an authorized MOM licensed employment agency, who is either a Singaporean or Singapore Permanent Resident with a valid Singpass can apply for the foreign worker’s identity verification.

2. When will my application be processed?
Your applications would be processed within 7 working days.

3. When will I receive the notification of my appointment time slot?
Notification of your appointment time slot will be sent to your registered email address nearer to the appointment date.

4. What if worker is late or did not turn up for identity verification?
The application will be voided. The foreign worker’s Employer, an authorized staff or an authorized MOM licensed employment agency will have to re-apply for the worker’s identity verification.

5. Can I request for refund if I have applied verification for the wrong worker or booked a wrong verification date?
No refund is allowed under all circumstances as the preparation work for verification for the worker will commence upon registration.

Additional Simplified Procedure

Here are the steps on how to register for BCA Singapore ORV (Overseas Registration for Verification):
1. Go to the BCA website: https://www.bca.gov.sg/.
2. Click on the “Overseas Registration for Verification (ORV)” tab.
3. Click on the “Register” button.
4. Enter the following information:
** Your name
** Your email address
** Your contact number
** Your company name
** Your company registration number
** The country where your company is registered
5. Click on the “Submit” button.

You will receive an email confirmation once your registration is successful. You will also be able to log in to your ORV account and start the registration process for your workers.

Here are some important things to note when registering for BCA Singapore ORV:
** You can register for ORV up to 30 days before the date you need it.
** You can register for ORV online or by visiting a BCA office.
** You will need to pay a processing fee of SGD 50 for each ORV registration.
** The processing time for an ORV registration is usually 2 weeks.
** If your registration is approved, you will be issued an ORV certificate.
** You can use the ORV certificate to verify the identity and qualifications of your workers to the Singapore authorities.
