Apply for a Collective Passport Dominica

Collective Passports are issued to persons travelling as a group, for example, for sports meets, youth excursions, etc. There is no fee for Collective Passports. There is a limit of twenty (20) persons per Collective Passport.

Requirements

Requirements for obtaining Collective Passports
1. The leader and deputy leader must have a passport. The surname, Christian names and passport number of the leader and deputy leader must be provided.

2. The leader of the group must provide a passport-sized photograph.
3. Completed Application Form – The Application Form is available from the Passport and Immigration Department.

4. List of names and particulars of members of group
** Surname
** Christian names
** Place of birth
** Date of birth
** Place of residence

Seaman’s Passport

A Seaman’s Passport is issued to persons working on boats. It is not for travel.

Requirements

Requirements for obtaining a Seaman’s Passport
** Letter from captain/agent indicating that the person is employed with/will be employed with the boat
** EC $30.00 stamps*
** Two recent passport photos
** Original and copy of birth certificate or previous passport
** Names of two referees who are of high standing in community
** Application Form – available at the Passport and Immigration Department for EC $1.00 stamp*

* Stamps are available for purchase at the General Post Office in Roseau and at its branches.

Travel /Emergency Permit

Travel Permits/Emergency Permits are issued in emergency cases, to Dominicans traveling to English speaking Caribbean countries, except Tortola.

Requirements

Requirements for obtaining a Travel Permit/Emergency Permit
** EC $10.00 stamps*
** One passport sized photograph
** Birth Certificate
** Previous passport
** * Stamps are available for purchase at the General Post Office in Roseau and at its branches.

A Travel Permit is issued immediately upon proof that there is some form of emergency, for example if one’s Passport has expired or one’s Passport is in another country awaiting a visa.

Apply for Extension of Stay

Applications for Extension of Stay must be submitted before the expiration of time given at the Port of Entry.

Requirements

Requirements for obtaining an Extension of Stay
** Application/interview with Inspector-in-Charge of Immigration in person
** Valid Passport
** Valid return ticket
** Sufficient funds to sustain oneself for length of time intended to stay
** A local address

** Fees – to be paid at the Treasury Department after interview with Inspector-in-charge, Immigration
CARICOM Nationals :
i. EC $25.00 for less than one month
ii. EC $50.00 for one to three months

Non-CARICOM Nationals :
i. EC $50.00 for less than one month
ii. EC $100.00 for one to three months
** Treasury receipt as proof of payment of application fee
