A CPF nomination provides you with the option to specify who will receive your CPF savings, and how much each nominee should receive, upon your demise.

How Can You Make Online?

Step 1 : Get ready
** Your SingPass
** Your nominees’ NRIC particulars (Name, NRIC No., Mailing address1, Email address)
** Two witnesses’2 NRIC particulars (Name, NRIC No., Mailing address1, Email and/or Singapore-registered Mobile Phone Number)

Step 2 : Log in to my cpf Online Services with your SingPass to make an online nomination.

How to Check Details?

We strongly encourage you to check your nomination details online using your SingPass

Steps :
Step 1 : Login with your SingPass.
Step 2 : Click on My Requests > Nomination Details > View My Nomination Details.

Step 3 : If you are not able to view your nomination details, please submit an online request via My Requests. After your request has been processed, you will receive an email to inform you that you can view your nomination details online. Requests will be processed within 4 working days.

As your nomination details are confidential, we cannot reveal them through other channels such as phone, email and third parties.

FAQs

1. Who is eligible to make a nomination online?
CPF members who are aged 16 and above, and have a valid Singpass, are eligible to make a nomination online.

2. Is there an administrative fee when I submit my nomination online?
There is no administrative fee to make a CPF nomination.

3. How long will CPF Board take to process my online nomination?
If you submit your nomination online, the Board will process it within four working days from the date that both your witnesses complete the witnessing of your nomination. You can check the status of your online nomination under “My Activities” by logging in to my cpf Online Services using your Singpass.

4. How many nominees can I have if I make an online nomination?
You can indicate up to eight nominees when making a nomination online. If you wish to nominate more than eight nominees, please visit our CPF Service Centres to make a nomination.

5. Do I need to indicate the address of my nominees, if they do not live in Singapore?
If your nominees are not residing in Singapore, you should indicate their overseas residential addresses to facilitate the Board in contacting them when distributing your CPF savings.

6. Why is there a need for witnesses in an online nomination?
The role of a witness is to affirm a CPF member’s intention to make a CPF nomination. Where necessary, this can help the Board to understand the process of how a nomination was made, and allow the CPF savings to be distributed in accordance with the member’s wishes.
