Residence Permits For Third Country Nationals Volunteers :

Required Documents For The Issue Of Visa / Entry Permit / Residence Permit For Volunteer Service:
(a) Duly certified copy of passport or other travel document, with a validity of:
(i) at least the expected duration of the program or
(ii) after two years. The shortest period of validity of any of the above mentioned

(b) Duly certified copy of criminal record issued by the relevant authorities of the country of origin officially translation in Greek or English.

(c) Duly certified original medical examinations for Hepatitis B and C, AIDS/HIV, Syphilis and report of chest X-ray for Tuberculosis from country of origin with validity of four months.

(d) Copy of the Agreement between the applicant and the Organization which is responsible for the volunteer work program which includes description of: the duties, the time-table, of the funds offered by the Organization for his travelling, living, accommodation and transportation expenses during his stay in the Republic and description of the training provided to him in order to fulfill his duties.

(e) Proof that the organization has a civil responsibility insurance certificate and it takes full responsibility for the applicant during his stay in the Republic, especially in reference to his living, medical and re-patriation expenses.

(f) Personal bank guarantee for the re-patriation expenses or bank guarantee by the responsible Organization for the re-patriation expenses.

(g) Receipt of payment of €85.43 for application fees.

(h) Application Form M58 thoroughly completed and signed

Required Documents For The Issue Of Residence Permit, Within A Period Of 10 Days From The Date Of Entry Into The Republic:
(a) Duly certified copy of passport or other travel document, with a validity of:
(i) at least the expected duration of the program or
(ii) after two years. The shortest period of validity of any of the above mentioned.

(b) Original medical examinations for Hepatitis B and C, AIDS/HIV, Syphilis and report of chest X-ray for Tuberculosis from Cyprus stamped and signed by government doctor with validity of four months.

(c) Confirmation that the applicant will participate in introductory classes to the language, history, political and social structures of the Republic of Cyprus.

(d) Two Passport-sized photographs

(e) Receipt of payment of €34.17 for application fees

(f) Application Form M61 thoroughly completed and signed

About Us :
The Civil Registry and Migration Department (hereinafter “CRMD” or “the Department”) is the result of the consolidation of the Migration, Registration and Election Services, which were part of the Ministry of Interior [Amendment of the Civil Service (General) Regulations, Κ.Δ.Π. 921/2003].

Originally the CRMD was mainly responsible for the civil registry issues, whereas migration issues were of a smaller volume and importance.
