MATIMOP, on behalf of the Office of the Chief Scientist (OCS) in Israel, and the Global Innovation and Technology Alliance (GITA) in India, invite Indian and Israeli companies to submit joint proposals for industrial research and development projects under the current i4RD Request for Proposals (RFP), launched on August 1, 2014.

IMPORTANT RFP DATES :
** Announcement Date of Request for Proposal : August 1, 2014
** Submission Date of i4RD Joint Application Form : December 19, 2014
** Notification of Approval for Phase II Application (Israeli Companies only) : January 15, 2015
** Phase II Application Submission Deadline (Israeli Companies only) : February 15, 2015
** Release of Request for Proposal Results : June 2015 (tentative)

TECHNOLOGY FOCUS AREAS :
This Request for Proposal (RFP) is open to all joint projects based on merit that include science and technology (S&T) development leading to commercial success, social good and benefit to both countries. There is however a specific focus on the following technology areas :
** Affordable Healthcare
** Energy Sector
** Agro Sector
** Water Sector
** Information & Communication Technology (ICT) and Telecom

** In addition to access to funding, i4RD is offering Israeli and Indian companies assistance in identifying potential partners for R&D projects under the current RFP. Please fill out a Company Profile Form to receive dedicated assistance in finding a partner.

** Contact the program manager to express interest and begin the application process
** Fill out a Joint Application Form together with your partner.
** Create a company profile on the MATIMOP website to get a username and password to access to the online application system .** Apply! Submit your Joint Application form online . Applications are due December 19, 2014.
