Certificate Attestation

Certificate Attesting to Israeli Citizenship or Non-Citizenship :
** Under Section 15 of the Citizenship Law, 5712 -1952 (Consolidated Version), an Israeli citizen is entitled to receive a certificate from the Minister of the Interior attesting to his Israeli citizenship. The certificate can be obtained in Hebrew and English, as well as the date on which citizenship was conferred. Those interested in the latter must note that separately.

Additional Simplified Procedure

The Population Registry Office in Israel is responsible for maintaining the population register, which is a database of all Israeli citizens and residents. The register contains information on people’s names, addresses, dates of birth, and other personal information.

You can request information from the Population Registry Office in Israel by submitting an application form. The application form can be obtained from the Population Registry Office website or from any Population Registry Office.

The application form must be completed in Hebrew or Arabic. You must also provide proof of your identity, such as a passport or ID card.The Population Registry Office will review your application and provide you with the information you requested within 30 days.

Here are some of the things you can request from the Population Registry Office in Israel:
** A copy of your birth certificate
** A copy of your marriage certificate
** A copy of your death certificate
** A list of your relatives who are registered in the population register
** A certificate of citizenship
** A certificate of residence

You can also request information from the Population Registry Office in Israel in person at any Population Registry Office. However, it is recommended that you apply online to avoid long wait times.

Here are some of the additional things to keep in mind when requesting information from the Population Registry Office in Israel:
** You must be a citizen of Israel or a permanent resident of Israel to request information from the Population Registry Office.
** You must provide proof of your identity when you submit your application.
** You must pay a fee to request information from the Population Registry Office. The fee is currently NIS 50.
