Payment of Pension Fund & Benefits :

This type of benefits is paid as a single, lump-sum payment in the following circumstances:
Age Maturity Reward:
Once the insured employee finishes work & is at least 60 years of age for male or 55 years of age for female and their service period has not reached the requirements to earn the retirement’s pension.

Death Salary Reward for Employees not entitled to Death Salary Pension:
If the deceased is not entitled to Retirement Pension their beneficiary/s can obtain End of Service benefits (Refer to Payment of Pension Fund- Death)

Disability Salary Reward for Employees not entitled to Disability Salary Pension:
If the disable employee is not entitled to Disability Pension their beneficiary/s can obtain End of Service benefits (Refer to Permanent and Partial Disabilities)

Family Reward:
For married or divorced woman or widow who is leaving work to take care of the family.

Work Sickness Reward:
Applicable if Medical Committee confirms the disease reduces the ability to work effectively and efficiently.

Nationality Lost Reward:
Exceptional cases: Such as loss of Omani nationality.

Dependant Employee Lost Reward:
Applicable if employee lost and is not entitled to get working/non- working salary.

Employee Transfer Reward:
End of service benefit applicable to employees joining bodies other than MoCS or Diwan.

Funeral Expenses and Death Grants.:
These two grants are urgent payment to all insured employees.

Marriage Grant.:
The marriage grant is paid to the daughter entitled to part of the pension of her deceased father or deceased mother for her marriage,it requires a marriage certificate

Partial Disability Compensation:
If the injured worker is sustaining a percentage of disability he/she would be referred to the medical committee concerned to assess the occupational and non-occupational disability, type and degree of the same. If the committee confirms the disability percentage, the compensation is paid provided it should be less than 30%.

Steps to follow to request the service:
A- Process steps:
Employee must complete and submit Employee End of Services Form at any PASI office enclosed with:
End of Services Benefit Request Form or Age Maturity Reward Form
A copy of passport or ID card.

Application sent to Pension Department which calculates benefit based on a particular and built-up formula depending primarily on the basic salary and the service period.

PASI pension department notifies insured employee.

Payment is made directly into an appointed bank.
