What is a Letter/Certificate of Good Standing or Good Standing Certificate/Letter and where can I get it from to apply for DHA Professional License?
The Good Standing Certificate/Letter confirms that the Professional has practiced medicine in that country and was not been disqualified, suspended or prohibited from practicing medicine.

And, the Medical Council or Ministry of Health is not aware of any matters that call into question the Professional good standing or that the Professional does not have any derogatory records, malpractice, negligence, etc. on records.

Good standing certificate (should not be older than 6 months) need to be issued from the medical council from the last worked country.

Only the Medical Director can approve the Good Standing Certificate from his own DHA Account. Once the Medical Director approves, the TAT is 15 working days for Normal issuances and 5 working days for Urgent and the certificate will be sent to their registered email only.

I am a DHA Health Professional. How can I apply for the Good Standing Certificates (GSC)?
First, a DHA Professional must fill a Good Standing Certificate (GSC) Application Form and get the sign and stamp of the Departments Medical Director.

  3. I have resigned from my previous hospital in Dubai and now I am in my home country. I want GSC now as I got another offer. What should I do? My previous employer will facilitate me? Medical director will approve or I have to follow some other step?
