Commission Resolutions Management System :

The system has the login screen, which is the default page when a person starts accessing CRMS, which is now located at crms.tcu.go.tz.

You will only be able to download a file, if its status is available

How to login :
Any person want to access the system is required to provide his/her credentials at the login screen, viz username and password.

System users are given roles :

(either administrator or normal user)

1. Normal User with ready only right:
User with this role can only view and download files placed to his/her FOLDER

To download a file :
** click on your folder/workspace, then click on Documents and then select a file to download or search it.
** After clinking on Documents, the Documents panel will show up, then use the Action column with an option to download, (click on an arrow).
OR
** click the selected file, after clicking it, on the right side you will see an Actions panel with an option of download – with an arrow pointing down, click on it and you will download a file, open it or save it to your computer.

2. Normal User with ready & write rights.
User with this role can add/edit/delete a FILE, also can download files placed in a FOLDER

To download a file :
** Same as described above.
** To Upload a file, go to Documents panel, see fig-3 and fig-4, then click on the +New, then select upload file
** Thereafter, browse for the file and link it to the FOLDERs/Workspaces you wish to have access to the file, by checking its associated box and press Add file button to save the file.

Students’ Credits Transfers Guidelines :
Roles of the students :
The student wishing to transfer shall :
(i) Research the institution(s) and course(s) which will be available at the receiving institution, and any rules and expectations which the receiving institution may have on transfer matters,

(ii) Using the approved forms by the sending and receiving institution, apply and secure a place at the receiving institution,
(iii) Understand and accept the terms and conditions regarding the sought programme,

(iv) Take the necessary measures to ensure that, on being transferred he will cope with the learning environment at the receiving institution,

(v) Confirm his/her acceptance of the terms and conditions set by receiving institution and
(vi) Notify his/her sponsor about the transfer through the receiving institution.

About Us :
The Tanzania Commission for Universities (TCU) was established on 1st July 2005, under the Universities Act (Chapter 346 of the Laws of Tanzania) to succeed the former Higher Education Accreditation Council which had been in operation since 1995.

It is a body corporate mandated to recognize, approve, register and accredit Universities operating in Tanzania, and local or foreign University level programs being offered by registered higher education institutions.
