The visitor’s parking pass will be sent together with a PIN code. Thereafter you will be able to activate the pass each time you need it for your visitors.

Activating the pass :
Each time you would like to use the visitor’s parking pass, you will need to activate and deactivate the pass through the website or by telephone.

Through the website :
** You can activate your visitor’s parking pass through the website of Parkline.
** Your pass will have a unique 7-digit code. Enter this code together with the accompanying 4-digit PIN code to activate the pass for the duration of the visitor’s stay.

Activate and deactivate your visitor’s parking pass :
By telephone :
You can also activate your visitor’s parking pass by calling the automated phone system (in Dutch) on 0800 – 404 4 404. You will be asked to enter the unique 7-digit code of your parking pass, followed by a hash (#) sign. Then you will be directed to enter your 4-digit PIN code, also followed by a hash sign. You will then be asked to select ‘1’ to confirm the activation and you will hear how much credit is still left on your pass.

Please note :
A number of visitor’s passes still have the old telephone number printed on the back : 0900 400 4000. This number is no longer valid.

Place the parking permit behind the car’s windscreen. Make sure that the barcode can easily be scanned.

Tip :
You can also activate your visitor’s parking session before paid parking begins in your street. The hours will be deducted from your parking credit only once paid parking starts.

Deactivating the pass :

If your visitors leave before the end of the paid parking period that day, you should deactivate the pass again through the website or by telephone.

Your parking session automatically expires at the end of the same day (once the paid parking period ends in your street). So if you forget to deactivate your pass, you only use up the parking credit for one day.

By telephone :
You can deactivate your visitor’s parking pass by calling the automated phone system (in Dutch) on 0800 – 404 4 404. You will again be asked to enter the unique 7-digit code of your parking pass, followed by a hash (#) sign. Then you will be directed to enter your 4-digit PIN code, also followed by a hash sign. You will then be asked to select ‘1’ to confirm the deactivation and you will hear how much credit is still left on your pass.

Parking credit on the visitor’s pass :
The number of visitor’s parking hours you receive per year is calculated on the basis of the number of hours that have to be paid for parking in your street each week.

Example :
there is paid parking in your street from 9.00 to 21.00 hrs. from Monday to Saturday. This means that your street has 72 hours (12 hours x 6 days) of paid parking per week. You then have the right to 169 hours on your visitor’s pass per year.

Parking credit used up :
** Do not throw your visitor’s pass away once you have used up the credit. The pass will be automatically reloaded with the new parking hours for the following permit year once payment is received.
** It is not possible to purchase extra hours.
** Your visitors can purchase a parking ticket from the dispenser.

Unused parking credit :
Unused parking hours cannot be carried over from year to year. They will automatically be cancelled at the end of the year.

Request a copy of the PIN code :
Lost your PIN code- If so, send an email to parkeervergunningen@denhaag.nl and include your :
** name and address
** 7-digit pass number

The PIN code will be sent by post to your home address the next working day.
