There are complementary services between government and national organisations that aim at serving families and society as a whole. The Ministry has committed itself to conduct social studies on behalf of many government and national organisations without additional resources being required.
Who can request this service :
Retirement case studies : The family of the deceased working within the civil service, social security laws, and Royal Oman Police (Parents, brothers, and sisters).
Steps to follow to request the service :
A. Process Steps :
The applicant can approach the nearest Centre or Department of Social Development and submit an application for a social study as requested by an official government organisation.
What documents are needed to process :
Will be provided at a later date
Special conditions if any applicable :
Applications must meet all requirements while the social worker conducts a visit to the residence and studies the social and economic circumstances of the applicant as requested
How long will it take :
The applicant is given a receipt of the application and an appointment date for the social worker to visit the residence
